Arum won't be involved. What happened in Australia was not a home-cooking type of luto.
It was an Arum-cooking as he wanted Horn-Crawford after that fight .
If the fight is close, I bet you they will give it to Khan. UK is not known for a fair judging if their boy is fighting a foreigner unless Manny knocks Khan out. Going back to Manny-Horn fight, it was a blunder on the part of Arum and he will regret it to his grave

None of those judges were Australian.
Arum is not regretting nothing.
That fix got Crawford a title.

I think Crawford getting a title is unavoidable. What Arum perhaps is regretting is the amount of money he could still have earn more if he didn't piss Manny off. Aside from that, Arum further soiled his already soiled reputation to the the filipino people and to boxing fans in general on how he treated Manny in that Manny-Horn fight. Fighting Khan in UK will be ok if Manny has a say, and he will use it to the fullest, in picking the referee and the judges in this fight. Although I still think Mikey Garcia or Lomachenko is a better fight, legacy wise, for Manny Pacquiao.

Not a money-making fight for Manny. Not even worth of Manny's time.

It would be a complete waste of effort .

Mikey Garcia or Jeff Horn or Amir Khan are more sellable and make more sense .
I think Amir Khan in a huge stadium in England is going to be the best deal for Pac .

Some article quoted Koncz has saying boxing taxes in UK is too high at 40%, + other taxes, almost 50%. Crazy taxes in UK.

Maybe in Philippines, no tax for Pacman

Some almost guaranteed impossible opponents:
-Horn (has an upcoming fights vs. Mundine)
-Loma (not moving up above 135)
-Mikey (will only fight Spence at 147)
-Crawford (fight has to be in US under TR)
-Thurman (inactive)
-AXF (retired)
-Spence (I don't think Pacquiao will mess up with this kid)

Only possible choices so far:
-Khan (should he get past Vargas)
-Garcia-Porter winner
-Berto

Money talks in boxing. So nothing is "almost" impossible. Thurman maybe a big possibility because he is also a WBA belt holder. Mikey Garcia is very possible if his fight with Spence will not materialize. Winner of Garcia-Porter fight is a good fight too and possible too. Loma may be not happen because Loma does not want to fight. Horn is possible but should be in the Philippines or elsewhere except Australia. Crawford and Spence? No, may not be practical for Manny. Khan is a low lying fruit that can easily be made. If I have my choice, Garcia and Loma is the best for Manny but necessarily do-able right now.

I don't think Trillanes can survive a round... :biglaugh:

So as Pacquiao and Matthysse... 8)

Anyway, I do hope Pacquiao and Eddie Hearn will co-promote the former's next fight instead of Arum... That way, he'll have Khan or Brook as potential opponents...
