The only way to make it realistic is to do a Mayweather. Dodge fighters who pose major threats, let them beat one another. Then retire as "Champion emeritus forever" like Kenny said of Mayweather.

Kidding aside, 2 years is reasonable but 10 years is wishful thinking. I would like Manny to retire with his honor still intact, whether he goes out with a bang or a whimper. Not when he starts embarrasing himself by losing to bums who will not last 6 minutes with him in his prime, and hanging on too long for money at the risk of putting his health in danger.

I got you again Bro Helven. 2 years?
It's already 2014 and Pacquiao has extended his contract with Top Rank until 2016.

but 10 years is still crazy...

By 2014 we would know.
Depending on if he wins against Marquez and Bradley in their respective rematches, and wins against Mayweather in 2014, Pacquiao might decide to extend his contract until 2017.

i hate to admit... but mysql is on the right track...

Around 5 more years to go. I hope he doesn't retire after the Mayweather fight though.

And he's now #3 of THIS generation (a generation that is DWARFED by the Leanard, Duran, Hearns, Hagler generation)... forget his ranking of all time..

and he lost his #1 p4p rank many, MANY, MANY years ago... LOL...

in REALITY, Pac was ALWAYS 2nd fiddle to Mayweather... TRUE.. So he NEVER was really #1.. LOL..
