my friend wants to recruit me and I’m not that sure if its for real or just a scam.. please help..anyone here a current active member of this MLM scheme share your thoughts

2.1 "Chain Distribution Plans or Pyramid Sales Scheme" means sales
devices whereby a person, upon condition that he makes an investment, is
granted by the manufacturer or his representative a right to recruit for profit
one or more additional persons who will also be granted such right to
recruit upon condition of making similar investments: Provided, That, the
profits of the person employing such a plan are derived primarily from the
recruitment of other persons into the plan rather than from the sale of
consumer products, services and credit: Provided further, That limitation on
the number of participants does not change the nature of the plan.

2.2 Other Forms of Chain Distribution Plan/Pyramid Sales Scheme. -

Without limiting the coverage of the term "chain distribution plan or pyramid
sales scheme" above, business, sales or marketing plan or scheme is
considered as Chain Distribution Plan or Pyramid Sales Scheme if:

a) A promoter persuades recruits to purchase products, services, credit,
title or rank whereby the recruits can receive income primarily from the
mere introduction, recruitment or sponsorship of other participants into the
scheme rather than from the marketing and sale of products; or

b) Where the profits of the person employing such are derived primarily
from the recruitment of the other persons into the plan or scheme rather
than from the sale of consumer products, services and credit and said
plan/scheme includes, but not limited to, one or more of the following
attributes:

b.1. revenues or income are derived from participants' entry fees;

b.2. in order to earn income, participants must sponsor a fixed number of
other participants, each of whom must in turn sponsor a fixed number of
participants as in a plan compensating participants balancing number of
recruits than number of sales volumes;

b.3. a participant's income is dependent primarily upon the participant's slot
or position within the organization as determined by the time, date and
order of participation;

They have a whole army of college students going around selling Gluthione creams, soaps and all other BS with labels such as " formulated in the USA". Its another modified multi-level marketing scheme aka pyramid scheme. Its not much about selling produts but recruiting more people below you. Its not even an international company, its Madaluyong based!

reason why I left: 4th yr H.S student ako non at graduating, eh bawal sa school namin yun. pero hindi ako yung reason bakit nahuli, yung mga ibang grupo na garapalan nagrerecruit sa canteen. haha. tigil na lang kesa di makagraduate. anyway, sa 2 months ko nun sa UNO, yung 7300 ko nabawi ko halos 50 thou din. so ayun. sabi ko nga, maganda ang company, ang sumisira eh yung mga garapal at mukang pera na miyembro.

ask me bro, i'm a former member... ok, the company is good, ok ang products, ok ang papeles sa DTI, SEC, walang problema. ang problema, mga ibang members na garapal magrecruit kaya nagkakaroon ng issue ang UNO. anung grupo ng friend mo bro? halos alam ko karamihan ng group sa UNO, unless na may mga bago ha? hehe. tagal na rin eh. kaya don't hesitate to ask. alam ko kung anung grupo ang mga loko-loko.

kahit sobrang laki ng galit ko sa mga kagrupo ko dati dahil mga garapal, sa company may tiwala pa rin ako sa setup nila bro. may mga kilala ako na hindi nagrerecruit and only focuses on the products and still they earn. kung mga college students ang tinutukoy mo, iisang grupo lang yun at kilala ko.

come on bro, ako nagquit sa mlm (uno) hindi dahil pangit ang company, kundi dahil sa mga members neto. nasisira ang isang mlm company dahil inaabuso ang recruitment side neto. pero kung titignan mo, may other ways to earn naman through the products (na may mga kakilala ako na hindi nagrerecruit pero kumikita sa pagbebenta. oo may iilan grupo na recruit ng recruit pero di naman lahat. nagkataon lang na dun ako napunta sa grupo na yon. laking inggit ko nga dun sa ibang grupo eh dahil lahat ng ways to earn ginagawa nila hindi yung recruitment lang. pero i agree sa "ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK" lahat naman ng desisyon m osa buhay may risk eh.

the thread title is misleading!!!
of course Pacquiao will not join such group because there's no purpose
& he have no time for such "opportunities", he's busy!
the truth is, this pyramiding/networking group just gaves lots of cash to
Team Pacquiao for their logo to be on Manny's shorts.
this group just advertise on the expense of Pacquiao's name, plain & simple.

Year 2009, an unknown stranger along with his beautiful GF approach and invite me on this so called UNO(I agreed bc his GF is flirting me somehow ). I agreed to go with them until we reached the facility where the UNO company fresh members are standing. A seminar is occurred and I almost felt sleep at my seat . After the a seminar, I stand at my seat and walks away . I'm not saying that its a scam or whatever. I just don't want my 7500 pesos goes to waste. And I saw too many new recruits which made me think its a waste of time joining this network because most of those new recruits are my friend, its an coincidence seeing them there.

Don't join this network if you are as lazy as juan tamad like me . I rather use my time with my own business than this.
