If you think about it, Mayweather could've been in the top spot of top earning athlete for 3 years in a row, if he were more active. He was fighting once a year, so he was always under 50million.

Whether you hate him or not, he rakes in the $$ no doubt.

Mayweather also has to spend quite a bit on promoting, I think he spent 10 million promoting the Cotto fight

imo, it should also be considered that floyd is promoting himself. This means that he can guarantee his ownself any amount he likes (eg. $45M, $60M)

this only shows that Floydie knows how to run his own business despite of his antics in the ring.

even in acapulco... :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

I've heard from some people who recently flew out of Acapulco after a cruise that at the Continental airport counter checking in they were told they had to pay a "tourist tax" to leave the country. Some people paid $20, some $50, some nothing. They were told it had to be cash and they saw the CO agents put the money in their pockets. Sounds like a shakedown to me. Anyone know if this is a scam and what to say to them if they try to pull it on us? We will be flying out of ACA on March 15 after our cruise and I want to be prepared in case they try to pull this on me. -Susie

of the USD62,000,000 earnings, he'll pay the philippines USD165,367.35 (7,000,000 pesos} in taxes, that is only 0.27% of his earnings. generous or cheat? :biglaugh:
