Roach told him how to box and made him a superstar even if he wasn't in the top 10 pound for pound list. the problem with him is his mouth he blabbers a lot of crap like he is the best and so forth. BUT NO MATTER HOW GOOD A TRAINER ROACH IS, ONE THING HE CAN'T TEACH IS FOR KHAN TO GROW A GRANITE/IRON/STONE CHIN. that is a natural gift. if you don't have it, well ****, you just don't have it. you can't learn or train for it.

It was Brad Cooney who started all this....he hates Freddie now for not giving him and his team a special access to them during Manny's camp in preparation for Margarito fight.....So im not really surprised when Brad asked Floyd Sr's opinion if it would be better for Amir to leave Freddy and look for new trainer...a trainer who is good at defense coz He and Floyd thought Freddy cant teach defense...he even gave klitschko as an example on how he was never down again after hooking up with Emmanuel Stewart...
