Got into Houston and got word from Dennis about what happened with Manny. Prayers to Manny that he makes a full recovery. And to those who are kicking him while he's down (ie those who are making "planking" jokes) need to stop! Getting knocked out aint a laughing matter. It takes balls to be in that ring and we all pray at the end of the day no one gets seriously injured.

I am utterly disappointed by the classless comment of Mr. Jim Lampley. It was unprofessional to compare the Philippines calamity, which cost countless lives to a boxing knockout. I am hoping this is just a lack of judgment on his part, but an apology is still warranted to the Philippines. PS. It was a typhoon, not a tsunami.

well Lampley's comment was over the top for sure. but his heart was in the right place. i think deep down he's just depressed about what happened because he's a fan himself.

but in no way does the death of thousands compare to a boxer losing in a sport. boxing's just a game after all, no one was killed.
