I'm a newbie here but i've been lurking this site since 05 when it was still called pacland. Just finally got an account =P

Anyway, I too wish that 2013 will be a good year for filipino boxing.

Next year i'd like to see Pac getting his revenge with bradley/marquez, Donaire vs rigo/mares, and viloria vs roman gonzalez.

And hopefully the pinoy pride series could get its sh1t together as well with no more bum fights. Lol

I joined this website just months before the first Barrera fight. At that time I was up to date and I could feel that I know boxing better than most posters do. In the last few years however I've been out of touch to boxing and I also noticed that there are more and more people now who thoroughly know and understand boxing. I run out of opinion about Pacquiao. His rise to the topmost was beyond my expectation and the way he fall to Marquez was never in my wildest thought. I don't know what's good for him in the future. But what I know is that nobody had thrilled the Filipinos the way he did. The whole boxing world in general has never seen someone so small climbed up in weight and dominated other champions of legendary Status. Henry Armstrong did climb up in weight but the Legendary stature of his opponents were not the same hight as de la Joya or Cotto.
Pacquiao have already brought us so much pride and glory. We can not ask him for more. I wish to see him rewrite what could have been a bad ending on an exceptional career. But again we cannot ask him for more than what he has already given.
Just like the song goes, We had joy we had fun we had our seasons in the sun. But the wine and the songs like the seasons will soon be gone.

My wishes for PinoyGreats are more wins, more champions, at higit sa lahat sana makabawi si Manny. Wish lang naman di ba... sana kung makakalaban nya si Marquez o si Floyd, sana yong KO cold din... para bawi.. hihihi... :D

Pacquiao should continue fighting para makabawi sya sa kanyang pagkatalo. Sobra kasing nakakalungkot ang nangyari sa kanya. Parang bangungot sa panaginip. Kaya kailangang makabawi.

All the best for PinoyGreats this coming 2013. We will rise again. God bless us all.

I feel this is the end of the road for Pac. He was not the same after he took that awful body shot from Margarito, that was the beginning of the end... It was just as if i'm waiting for the inevitable each round of each fight, so i wasn't really that surprised when the KO from Marquez came- i was just glad it did not came from Floyd ;-p

We need to move on, Pinoy Greats needs to move on. Although the future is not that bright, we now have a prime Nonito for 1 to 2 years and prolly Brian for atleast 1 year... The real question is, after Nonito or Brian, who do we really have? This is what concerns me... I'll prolly be once a Pactard, but i will forever be a supporter of Filo Boxing... Who's Next???
