hey, has anyone been to macau? i was thinking about going to see the pacquiao/rios fight, but i've never been overseas. what do you do? get a passport, i guess. and like, how do you get tickets and all that to see the fight? and what if they change the date and all that blah blah blah.

do you have to learn chinese? or do they speak english too? is anyone else going or thinking about going?

Since you're an Aussie, you only need a passport and a plane ticket to go to Macau. Try to find promotional plane tickets on the net. HTH :D

Try Qantas or www.skyscanner.com.au or http://www.farecompare.com/. Haven't tried those, but you may try.
