pac fought 10 times during his early days in 1995. what surprised me is he fought again in january of 1996 when his last fight is december of 1995. after a month again he suffered his first loss to torrecampo.

if pacquiao's career is well handled during those times, who knows? maybe at age 34 his body is not suffering from wear and tear of boxing :D

most boxers fight plenty of times early in their careers
mike tyson fought 15 times in his first year
mayweather fought 10 times in 1997
etc etc
those fights at the start of their careers are 6-10 rounders and not at the highest level of competition
coupled with their youth, this is why they can fight multiple times in a year without too much time to prepare and these are also the times where they were always in shape

In the old times, even the elite boxers and champions fought at this rate. I just don't believe the idea that they fought elite boxers as 10x a year. You can't tell me sugar ray Robinson fough 10 jake Lamont's caliber type boxers in a year.

He wouldn't have died had he rested or had anti-biotics then.
