marquez can still earn millions of dollars on his last fight.
but maybe he doestn want to lose on his last fight because of old age and with his injuries.

same with kelly pavlik he got a fight against andre ward for a million dollar but decided to retire because
there is a buzzing noise on his ears. roberto garcia said he can take that fight and act like he get knocked out
and take the money. but pavlik is honest, and i think marquez too thats why he retired

When the pimples on your back are larger than your nuts, it might be time to retire.
Did not want to fight Pac again because his face is all fkk'd up already from all the cuts and breaks and bukol from Pac's fists.
Lord, as much as he put a beating on Pac, Pac sure fkk'd up his face a ton.
Broke his nose in 3 of those 4 fights.

Too bad we never saw a fight between Erik Morales VS JM Marquez.

That's the only fight missing among the four great featherweights of our era

namely Pacquiao, Barrera, Morales, and Marquez...

Too bad he ducked Cotto 'til the very end... :(

Never a 5-division champion, not even with an interim title...

I'll remember him as the boxer who was beaten by Donaire for the FotY award and the race to become a 5-division champion even with an interim title...

Haha...

And the BUTT-HURT continues..

Marquez will FOREVER have the LAST LAUGH... FACT.. All TURDS have to live with that.. LOL.

But seriously, congratulations to a great champion who will one day be inducted into the hall of fame (and his greatest victory will be showcased in the HOF for boxing ETERNITY). IMO the four fights with Pac is one of the greatest rivalries in this boxing generation (IMO, the only other rivalry that matches that one in this generation is the Morales/Barrera rivalry).

Once again, congratulations to Marquez on a great boxing career!

here you are spreading FALSE information. He was injured and Cotto refuse to fight at 147.

Marquez put your idol Pacquiao to SLEEP and made him an INTERNET MEME.....

Marquez cemented his legacy as one of the GOAT, first ballot HOFer.
