Is it possible? If Margarito wins his next fight?

No true boxing fan will be interested to watch a has been fighter ( Margarito ) & a nearing has been ( Pacquiao ).

Image

Watching a Hiroshima bombed like face is enough for once thus keeping the fans away from this rematch.

Unlike their first fight, Pac might not be able to unleash his bomb like punches & can't duplicate disfiguring Margarito's angelic face again.

Bottom line, fight fans will say - " Wag na lang."

Possible, but I think a rematch against Torrecampo or Singsurat might take place first...

It is necessary... That's the reason why a rematch against Margarito needs to happen too... Watch the first fight in slow motion and you'll realize that Margarito schooled Pacquiao...

The story for this is that both are seeking a comeback.

This is very possible since Margarito won his last fight.

Not plausible. Doesn't make any sense. The first fight and only fight was a beat down. One sided. It would only require a rematch if the other fighter was able to put up a competitive fight or if the result was controversial. Plus, there is no money fighting Margarito at this point. Doesn't help that Pacquiao damaged his orbital bone to the point he was forced to retire. Why are we even talking about this fight?

Margarito did not win his last fight convincingly. He supposedly quit on his stool but he was saved by the ref by stopping the fight on cuts caused by a head butt early in the fight just so they can goto the score cards, which had Margarito winning although he was thoroughly outboxed. This will be an easy fight for Pacquiao but there won't be much money into it. Pacquiao only has about 1 more fight left, maybe 2, and he needs to make the most money he can before he retires and fighting Margarito is not going to satisfy Pacquiao's bank account. Pacquiao's stock has dropped after losing to Horn. Either a rematch with Horn or a fight with Amir Khan will make the most money other than a rematch with Mayweather, which will never happen. Fighting Keith Thurman or Errol Spence Jr is not a safe fight at this point in his career. He's better off fighting a glass jaw Khan or a rematch with a lucky Horn since they are less of a threat with the potential to make good money.
