But he was wrong.

He simply did not challenge a prime Triple G.
He had been ducked GGG even before Floyd-Canelo happened.
He and his boss DLH were scared to death of fighting GGG years back.
It was even more obvious when Canola dropped his middleweight belt which he has won against Miguel Cotto.

Then they had seen a declining GGG last year against Daniel Jacobs that made up DLH and Canelo's mind to fight him once and for all. That's the time they waited for.

Yeah, just recently Canelo Alvarez thought and many others believed GGG was ripe for the taking - but they were wrong.
At almost 36, GGG still has much left in his tank.

I am sure the version of GGG who fought David Lemieux or Rubio would have been decapitated the version of Canelo who fought TBE Floyd years back.

That's all there is to it, folks.

canelo's got a granite chin
compare to all GGG's victims
but still not enough to beat GGG
But he should be happy he survived GGG

i think dela hoya will let canelo fight 2 more fights
before fighting GGG again. they will wait till GGG
get more older

I couldn't agree with you more.
It's pretty clear Canola Nelo is such a 'puto' fighter.
He's been feasting on smaller guys for a long time.

Canelo could out point GGG but has no consistency , Canelo look good in the earlier round and faded and try to rest in the middle round to avoid burn out, and give it all in the last 3 round , but his stamina is a suspect.

He may have a second thought for that rematch...as he expressed " ... if the people wants it"

Ironically, Gennady Golovkin was the one who fought like a true Mexican warrior...

While Canelo Alvarez ran like a chicken all night while eating a bunch of jabs in process...

....and he claimed he won that match... while running away ? ...Tripple G 's constant attacks made him changed his plan .. instead of boxing he opted for a track and field race.... which was why the "eagle" judge scored more for him, for his effort in constant back-pedalling and running inside the ring.

Well, rematch translate into another big payday. But I'd see Canola Nelo and his boss DeLaHomo won't go straight into it even if they have judges in their pocket, the longer it takes the better it gets for them. But do you think this GGG-Canelo matchup/rematch isn't losing its luster?

It sure did for many reasons. Some are the following ;
- Canelo did not fight enough but Ran around like a scares duck
- Judge decision is awfully wrong and the people knows what's obvious
- Delaying the rematch for 1 year( 2018 May- like GBP said) would lose a lot of interest
- A lot of Mexican fans were ashamed of how Canelo fought

GGG is the CHAMPION, yet he was the one bringing the fight and landed more meaningful punches than a warrior turned into chicken Canola. Triple G wanted to put on a show but Canola hadn't wanted a slam-bang affair with him, people were expecting he's gonna get there as a true Mexican warrior, that was embarrassing.
