How about Pacquiao-Berto on December 2?

Berto just won a hard-fought war and a knockdown vs. Devon Alexander... His style perfectly fits Pacquiao's...

Well, Berto would be a better opponent than having Pacquiao-Vargas 2 or a fight against an unheralded opponent like Ugas, Ponomarev or Kavaliauskas...

Berto would likely sell better than Crawford because he already fought AXF, maybe sells like Horn rematch but not as high as Khan or Broner...

Maybe if Danny Garcia wins over Porter, it can be Danny Garcia, as he will have a title too that Pacman will want. Floyd also suggested flat-footed Garcia for Pacman to gobble up.

Tentatively, fight will also be Dec 2, which will be on a Sunday, so probably not in the USA. No Top Rank, no Crawford.

This fight should have happened about 3 to 5 years ago when Berto was at the top of his game! His a damaged good (shoulder surgery)! This is another Pacquiao vs Matthyse version! Pacquiao will be too fast for Berto, although Manny is a littlle older, the Pacman will retire him for good! But yes, I would still watch it!

I like your insight. Garcia is a good match up for Pacquiao stylistically simply because he is a converted southpaw and Pacquiao does well against opponents who relies on their left hooks like Cotto, Dela Hoya, Hatton and others. Furthermore, Pacquiao will gain lots of recognition in beating a younger fighter! The money that will be made in this match up will also be huge!

Pre i think it was Mikey Garcia not Danny Garcia that Floyd wanted for Pac. I really hope its Mikey too.

Yes, DSG would be a nice option for a high risk, high reward fight... Pacquiao has a chance against him, even better than against Thurman...

The fight would still be in Asia for sure...

Pacquiao also had a shoulder injury... With a stoppage/KO win against Berto, Pacquiao will look good again, especially when Berto retires after the fight...

Not a money-making fight for Manny. Not even worth of Manny's time.

It would be a complete waste of effort .

Mikey Garcia or Jeff Horn or Amir Khan are more sellable and make more sense .
I think Amir Khan in a huge stadium in England is going to be the best deal for Pac .

In England? I hope not or it will be another "lutong macau" like the Pacquiao-Horn fight. I hope they do it in Dubai or Hong Kong.

Arum won't be involved. What happened in Australia was not a home-cooking type of luto.
It was an Arum-cooking as he wanted Horn-Crawford after that fight .
