If Manny will knock Broner out, there would be a possibility to make it happen. Roach was thinking the idea when Manny's career was on top.

Canelo will not be able to make welterweight, and even GGG said Pacman is too small.

Pacman can probably make heavyweight, but he will already be beaten down at middleweight or even superwelterweight.

How come Manny was able to fight at 155 and won? I think it's all about money and being the best out there. Oscar and Margarito did it.

Pacquiao has never fought at 155 catchweight... His heaviest fight was at 150 catchweight...

At 150, he weighed-in at 144 and paid the price... After the Margarito fight he's never the same since his lower torso was badly damaged...

Can the fight happen? Only if Canelo returns to 160 and Pacquiao agrees to fight at 155 for the Middleweight titles... What will happen is that Pacquiao will weigh-in with his natural in-fight weight (around 147-152) and won't gain more than 154 come fight night... Canelo on the other hand will weigh-in around 158-160, will pay millions for being above the catchweight but the titles remain intact and the fight is still on, come fight night he will weigh above 170... With that scenario, do you think a small, old and faded Pacquiao can survive against a heavy, young and prime Canelo? Logically never...

There is no minimum weight to fight for the middleweight belt.
Henry Armstrong weighed less that 147 when he fought Garcia for the middle title.

Pac only weighed 146 against Margarito for the fake Jr middle title.

Yes, Pacquiao's weight there is based from the heaviest he can gamble to weigh in correlation to his running weight...

I believe Armstrong-Garcia happened during the time when weigh-ins were done only hours before the fight... Pacquiao-Canelo would be 152-172 during the fight... Pacquiao will literally die within a few minutes...

For the boxing enthusiasts specially gamblers it could be possible. And for Manny, he wants to surpass every challenge. Canelo Vs Pac will just compare to the Ray leonard vs Lalonde.

Marquez nearly killed Pac with one shot.
Canelo is even stronger.

Canelo ain't going down to 154 anymore.

Oh, the mother of all catchweight fights... SRL was a Middleweight when that fight happened so we can't compare them...

And that happened 6 years ago, when Pacquiao is turning 34... How much more now that he's 40...

TC or Eleider Alvarez vs. Canelo would be better...

But JMM was the Hulk that time :D. He could never beat pacman, so he had to turn into the Hulk to do it

Oh, I forgot, Canelo can also be a Hulk ...

Anyway, Pacman is not the same gung-ho anymore, he is harder to KO these days. This Canelo fight will never ever happen.
