Ganyan din prediction ko, finally nagkasundo tayo sa boxing........ :biglaugh:
We'll be in Resorts World Mla (one of restos there) on Sund. to watch this.......
Hopefully Pac wins but he should retire after this (or perhaps one last fight in Phil. Arena)........

Eto prediction ko...
Go Clippers...

I don't agree that Manny should retire after this fight..
He is still a force to recon with...
Why retire when you can still earn million dollars just by being in the ring?
Sayang ang income para sa election 2022 as President of the Philippines...

For health reasons, while we are being entertained, we should also think his own welfare.......
In as much as we are super fanatic, we do not agree in Manny's political thoughts and ambitions.......
Win this and go home to retire. Just enjoy life with his billions........

My own analysis is that it will depends on how Thurman will engage Pacquiao, here are the possible scenario's:

Thurman will try to engage and test Pacquiao's power in the early rounds, if he feels he can take Pacquiao's punches then he will continue to be aggressive the rest of the fight, but if he feels that he cannot fight toe to toe with Manny he will just try to outbox from a distance and hope for a favorable decision from the judges, the idea is its better to lose via decision than getting knocked out.

My assessment on Thurman based from his fight against Lopez and Porter, he seems to fade in the later rounds and he is susceptible to body punches which can be his weakness in this fight, Pacquiao even at 40 his quickness and ring IQ is way above Lopez and Porter which gives Pacquiao a better chance of knocking out Thurman in the later rounds, but Thurman will try everything to survive in case he will be in danger.

Manny will try to hurt Thurmann in the early rounds via body shots then will combined those body and head shots(similar to Morales Pacquiao 3) in the later rounds, but Thurmann will run and try to survive so it is most likely that it is only a 12 round decision for Pacquiao, but because Manny is pissed by KT's trash talking then he might pushed a little bit to try in knocking him out.

This is an exciting fight! :D

Just finished watching Thurman - Lopez.. Thurman really looked strong in the first six rounds but looked terrible from round 7 onwards he threw everything against Lopez but his power looks gone already. Thurman is not a pure boxer, not the best counter-puncher, maybe not as durable as Horn and Bradley. For this fight he really needs to hurt,KD, or finish Pacquiao within the first 3-5 rounds as soon as Pacquiao reach the late rounds i dont think Thurman can win enough rounds to get a close decision not unless he can hurt or KD Pacquiao in the early rounds.

Pacquiao winning late round TKO or KO is highly possible but he really needs to survive the first 5 rounds against this young puncher Keith Thurman. If Thurman decided to be a pure boxer in this fight ala Jessie Vargas then Pacquiao will dominate him for most of the rounds.. Keith must really take risk in the early rounds as well as Pacquiao since he's the smaller guy he needs to get into a range where he can hit one time with his combinations and avoid getting countered.

Very exciting fight i dont think its going to be a close UD anymore and leaning towards Pacquiao via late round stoppage or UD but also wont be surprise if Thurman will knocks him down or tags him with lethal shots to the head and body.

Can't Wait.

Bradley 'Don't believe the hype' picks Thurman because of his ring IQ and punching power.

Winky Wright 'everyone can looks good on the mitts'

Pacquiao's main sparring partner has a record of 11 wins 2 KO

Is Pacquiao over hyped because of what he has accomplished and based on his last 2 bouts some would say Broner wasn't the same after he moved up in weight and got beaten by Maidana, Porter, Mickey, while Matthysse was an old 36 yrs old too much wear n tear and also not the same fighter and tailor made for Pacquiao.

Is Thurman's Punching power a bit over-hyped when he stepped up in competition and can only win close UD among the best in his division, Is Keith Thurman's boxing skills and IQ really that high or just more on survival instinct. Is Keith Thurman only good in the first few rounds and then fades. Can Keith Thurman Prove that he's not weak when he gets tag to the body..

If Pacquiao hurts or drops Thurman can he finish him off to erase that 9th round performance against Jeff Horn where he also looked a bit gassed out in the next few rounds..

very exciting fight.

After the 5th round, Thurman will look older than Pacman

Pacquiao can really take a punch, he doesn't gets bruises or cuts easily win or lose from his previous bouts mas gulpe mukha ng kalaban hehe pero siyempre victory is more important and not getting seriously hurt.

Lets see comes the weigh in event..if the physique of Thurman is a little bit of suffering anorexia then Thurman will be having enormous trouble comes fight night. As you have observed,, Thurman is carrying a body of a super welter and maybe a middleweight at the first stage of the promotion. In the course of his training he should have trim a large amount of excess baggage within his tissue and doing so, will compromise the element of his power. It will be a good factor in favor of Pac to win by UD or even TKO in later rounds. I supposed Thurman belongs to super welter division at this point in time, and staying in 147 lbs limit is a disadvantage with him, especially if he is matched at the caliber of Spencer and or even Crawford.

I go with Morales' take that Thurman's style is good for Manny to win.

Looks like the Latinos overwhelmingly favor Pacman (except Joel Diaz lol), some blacks favor Thurman as it should be, but many favor Pacman too, probably due to the mouth of Thurman.

Pacman by KD in 9th rounds

UD win by Pacman

I'm thinking of what happen to Hatton as he try to impose that he is bigger and stronger, Thurman well try to KO Pacman in the early rounds.

For Thurman to win, he needs to stop Manny within 5 rounds. Beyond 5th round, it's Pacquiao by late stoppage or UD.

He can take a punch kaya log-tu twice in his career, and Margarito banged his head with punches, and Pacquaio was hurt bad.

The only way for Thurman to win is by KO or TKO. If it goes to a decision, Pacquiao wins. :)
