ON TMZ,

Keith Thurman Boasted that he bet $10,000 that he Knockouts Pacquiao before Round Three.

Its interesting what the Payoff would be and How the Pacquaio Camp responds to that BRAVADO

Why doesn't he bet $100K if he's really that confident. Manny is just going to laugh at his bet. It's just like going to casino and play 1 cent slot machines.

Great Question. It's interesting that he decided to Go Public with this claim knowing Manny would find out.
What's his Motive? Does he think it will influence Manny to get careless and he can get a Marquez type KO of Manny?

Normally its not wise to give an opponent "Bulletin Board" Material

But he'll try to box, occasionally engage or brawl and once gets hurt he'll run and become defensive just like in his 4 previous bouts. But the thing is weather he performs good or bad most of his opponents will really absorb his heavy shots to the head and body so happened that the quality of opponents that he has fought except for Josesito Lopez are nearly or just slightly below his skill level. Maybe Keith saw something from the Horn - Pacquiao , JMM-Pacquiao 4 that he will try to use against Pacquiao... But Keith is more of boxer with survival instinct.. Cotto and Pacquiao in their prime would KO Keith but this time its a different story considering Pacquiao's age 41 but still Pacquiao is still very dangerous especially if properly trained and focus.

Clearly, a poor strategy by Thurman. He wanted to anger Manny,
And instead, make Pacman the aggressor in the opening rounds,
Thurman will wait & with the Marquez KO of Pacman in mind, will look for the chance
to land his haymaker especially if Pac will get careless.
But Keith was wrong. Pac is normally a cool starter & blessed with a high boxing IQ,
And after having an idea of Thurman's movements, Pac will initiate his relentless attacks,
After Thurman tastes Pac's power, his strategy & game plan will quickly vanish,
He'll run & counter only thereby losing by a unanimous decision. 8)

It can happen especially if he hits the button. Boxing is exciting but very dangerous sport. But I always wanted Manny to win convincingly! So I say Manny by KO/TKO on or before round 7! This is going to be a war, very exciting fight! :swordplay: :swallow: :computer: :gun: :pirate:

Same thoughts here,...which is a very realistic analysis
:D

These are all mind games by a trash talker KT who is just trying to comfort himself of fear inside of him. He knows that his stamina and strength is just good within the first 3 rounds the most. He capitalizes on his chances on these rounds if he could land and time his best shots while the Pacman ( KT thinks.. :idea2: ), is on the stage of being pissed off of his verbal trash executing careless offensive attempts. Pacman with all his experiences combined after fighting different opponents each with different approach offensive and defensive combined, could adjust well to what KT has to offer. He could not be an 8 Division champion if he lacks IQ to neutralize any situation prevailing during the fight. If KT tries to think that on the start and at a very early stage of the fight he could release and land his SCUD like missiles attack, then he must be reminded that Pacman has a lot of Patriot missiles on his arsenal to intercept and let it explode in the face of such a trash talker like KT. My thoughts.. :thunder: :idea2: :thunder:

These are just mind games he's playing. He's trying to use psychological warfare to get into Pacquiao's head, piss him off so he can lose focus and go hog-wild deviating from his game plan. However, Pacquiao is a veteran so he's been through big championship fights before. He knows how to handle the pressure from big fights so these mind games ain't gonna work. They're going to motivate Pacquiao even further and focus more on destroying Thurman. Good luck to Thurman. I hope he doesn't end up in the hospital.

A-c-t-u-a-l-l-y Thurman might have tink he got Pacaquiao's number like Marquez a-l-s-o. He knows he should not fight like a Mexican who goes a perpetual forward march but always control deee aaaah distance in and out where his punches can reach deee aaah target and deeee aaaach opponents short reach punches cannot. He should not bite of what Pacquiao always says to pight toe to toe to gib excitement to deeee aaaah pans because it is a trap. W-e-l-l lets see ip he can Knock out deee aaaah old carabao in Veagas. :)

Please excuse any typos.
