Kahit sa comprehensive insurance nila ingat din. Sometime in 2002, a bottle of redhorse was thrown by some tambay at the roof of my few weeks old van while parked in a common parking area. It caused a deep dent but I was confident that the casa (Wheels-E.Rod) would bring it back to its previous state. Paid the participation fee and left the vehicle in their care. When I got it back, I still saw a light dent but it appeared good so did not bother with it anymore. Over the years the light dent deteriorated.
On the 6th year, the aircon compressor conked out. By then, I already stopped having it checked at casa after the warranty expired. So I had to install a brand new aircon compressor and replace all the air driers as they were nearing their end as well.
Here's what made my BP rise: I was there when the aircon techs had to bring down the vehicle ceiling to check the aircon driers. With my bare eyes, I saw several white styrofoams fall from the ceiling just below the dent roof. Apparently the casa techs used it to support the roof. In other words, they did not fix the damaged roof as expected. Minasilla lang ng konti, nilagyan ng styro support at pininturahan. I can only rue the day I was too trusting ---- charged to experience. Tuition fee, wika nga nila.
Bato-bato sa langit, ang tatamaan mabukulan sana at magbagong buhay na.
Kanya-kanyang ingat na lang lagi at hindi lahat tumatahak sa tuwid na daan.
