When news broke out that they will allow Professional boxer in olympics..our hopes are high that finally we have a good chance in getting gold thru Packy... :D
..only to be dismayed by his decision not to compete... : :(

Manny is already a Senator... He should be in the senate and not in the boxing ring. Anyway its all your fault you voted for Manny to become senator now he should focus on the senate.

A good decision by Sen. Pacquiao. He could still contribute, financially or otherwise, to the sport that he loves if he could bankroll the training expenses of selected boxers to train at Wild Card facilities, under direct supervision of Freddie Roach, prior to any world event like the Olympic Games. In short, as a patron or boxing godfather.

Maybe its bec he will not earn 20 million dollars fighting in the olympics. Even if he gets gold the biggest prize money is only IMO 5 million pesos

Manny heard that if he'll fight as a welter in the Olympics, Mayweather will follow suit.
In amateur, running, jabbing & holding are counted.

Good decision
