Pac is really only a 5 division champ
just like Mayweather

Barrera didn't have any title from the 4 major governing bodies except that stupid Ring Magazine Oscar now owns

IBO? What is that? Fly by night organization. Hatton had that. Looks more like international belt to me

The brits are still bitter on How Pacman sent Hatton to dream world...

Lets just ignore their envy coz they are the ones hurting themselves in downgrading Manny's accomplishments.

IF THEY COULD NOT ACCEPT THE BITTER PILL THAT HATTON WAS REALLY OVERRATED, THEN SO BE IT...

The truth never emanates from man, truth is outside of man, and the truth prevails. Either humans embrace it and cooperate with it as in divine grace, or they despise it and face the wrath of the divine.

history will judge pacman whether he is a 7-division or 5-division champ.

espn, boxrec, ring, and other major organizations/networks says manny is 7-divisions champion. that delusional brits can say whatever they want.

but they forgot the fact that hatton is ibo jr. welterweight champion when manny almost administer euthanasia to him. they call hatton a champion, but when he loses to manny, they refuse to acknowledge manny as champ in 140 lbs

If you will only consider Boxing's major organizations WBC, IBF, WBA, WBO then Pacquiao is only 5 division world champion. His belt @ 126lbs. is Ring Magazine and IBO @ 140 lbs.

this is the correct interpretation of sky sports comments about pacquiao's accomplishments.

it's too obvious that people here in pacland have selective hearing deficiencies. british english is not that hard to understand. during the same fight, specifically at the beginning of round 3, when pacquiao and cotto where getting off their stools (if you are watching sky sports version, forward it to 16:38) the commentators also said that pacquiao is a "4 weight world champion , but he's (manny) succeeded in 6 weight classes". obviously when they said "world champion", they meant major belts. and when they said "6 weight classes they already included the ring and IBO belts.

be objective and clean your ears and don't be such a war freak. you are just shaming yourself. just because they're not asians doesn't mean that they are against pacquiao. you still have that slave mentality in you.

Yes...that is how I understand it as well. I believe the wording used was 'not a major belt'. I guess you can compare it to the Grand Slam events in Tennis. There are four Grand Slams and numerous minor titles and Tier 1 titles. The commentators are being informative and that's how it should.

if that would have been a brit achieving what manny did, im sure they will try to find more than one reason to tell the world that their guy is an eight weight category champion instead of seven.

These are the British commentators. Even after Buffer announced that Manny captured his 7th, they kept on saying it's only his fifth. They can't accept it, or they are not willing to.

are they the same commentators in skysports? i have a copy of this one but having a hard time getting the hbo copy.
