154lbs is just a title but both Cotto and Pacquiao are smaller than that light middleweight class.
Cotto weigh 153.6 lbs for a middleweight fight. I bet you he even ate before the weigh-in just
to get closer to 157lbs but he fell short. Cotto can still make the 147lb limit but he can't go
back to that weight class of Manny and Floyd who both beat him.
Manny only weighed 145lbs during the weigh-in vs Floyd. Manny took heavy breakfast during
that day to weigh closer to 147lbs but he still fell short.

To summarize: Manny is just a 140lb fighter while Miguel Cotto can still fight at 147lbs.
Both of them are small and for Pactards to even mention the name of Golovkin as a potential
opponent who drain himself during weigh-in to make 160lbs. is just ridiculous.

Why not go fight at 135lbs or 168+lbs so nobody would say it's his good weight
That's why there are catchweights, TS. To make dream matches possible... You go meet halfway as they say.
people would argue this one got drained while others will say the other was too bloated and didn't carry his usual power from the lower weights... Gripes would normally come from the loser.
