Marvin has given up on himself before anyone of us did. Tell him to get up on his feet first, then we will take the path together with him.

I see where people would get discouraged with his ill adviced actions of late, and I would be too. It's just that, there is so much potential with this young man, more than the other talented prospects out of the Philippine boxing scene. Here's one where we don't have to discover him or look for him, he is already here just waiting to be developed into a well honed, highly skilled fighter.

As I have been saying, all he needs right now is a proper upbringing, if you will, the right coach and manager and maybe a sports psychologist to initially help get him off his boxing depression. Marvin needs people who really truly cares and can impart in him much needed boxing skills and savvy to help him get back on track and to the top of his profession.

I'm sure many will agree with me that Marvin got the "gift". But he is still this raw potential who needs much work with the right people. Isn't it just amazing that this young man won a major belt, a World Championship, while literally being a "one handed" fighter like our beloved Manny Pacquiao was ages ago? But after teaming up with Roach.... the rest as they say, is history.

I just hope Marvin hasn't really given up on this sport that he loved dearly. I just hope people hasn't really given up on Marvin either.

Sayang...........

Marvin has all the potentials to be a good champion. He should never be blamed. He's just 20yrs old. His handlers should have known better.

Except that he was not properly managed. People simply forget this. I will never be tired of repeating this.

Before Sonsona was fed to Vasquez, he had a record of 14-0-1. With only 15 fights, Sonsona should have been prepared first before fighting Vasquez who had a record of 62 fights (54-6-2) with 41 KOs Experience should be given due to Sonsona and other "upcoming boxers."

I put the blame on SGG promotions head Samuel Gello-ani.

Ang laki nga naman ng kita niya kapag world title fights.

The recent promotion he is doing now is on a little known 'Ardin Diale' who will be fighting reigning WBO flyweight Champion Julio Cesar Miranda on February 12, 2010 in Guadalajara , Mexico. Even if Diale wins this (fluke win), he won't last because he won't be prepared for more great fights.

Success in life start letter "S". for "SELF" what ever goal is. with the help of our almighty creator... me kasabihan nga tayo,.. na nasa Diyos ang Awa nasa Tao ang Gawa...

Pacman start also in Philippines with our local trainers... same as the ALA boys... But when the Chance came to him to have a fight in America. HE gave his very best to achieved IT. he did not blow it up..

There is no use supporting someone like Marvin who gave up on himself.
