I think this is the reason why his previous fights were all gone the distance. He's not d most exciting fighter now.

there was no compassion, it's just he's past his prime, otherwise he would always look at the referee and beg to stop the fight :biglaugh:

Compassion is when you give someone 36 tickets to your fight.
Compassion is when you give someone a pick-up

Indeed, Manny is full of compassion. He even gave his opponent a world title belt. He has reached contentment and he is willing to give up everything.

first post from el crit that I would agree with. :D

BUt even a Pacquiao that is past his prime is still better than an undefeated 28 year old jr. welterwweight champion.

Compassionate and somehow becoming st@pid (Sorry idol first time to use that word for you).

He is becoming predictable and a less thinking fighter right now.
He doesn't innovate new techniques inside the right.

Pacquiao doesn't look to the referee for stoppage in recent fights anymore since the ref won't stop it anyway, the ref enjoys watching Manny fight. Manny simply carries the opponent to the end of the match by fighting only in the last 30 secs.

i've long suspected pacquiao's killer's instinct when he fought and couldn't put away a hapless margarito in the late rounds.
i think this is not a case of "compassion" anymore, but more on a case of "can't pull the trigger" any longer.
why wait for the rematch to go for a knockout when he can do it on the first match? does this mean he's
not "doing his job" anymore to make us fans happy?
