Guerrero was quite successful with his left counter left uppercut after Floyd's favorite right overhand in the 1st round (in fact The Ghost won the round). Why abandon it?

Mayweather usually measures his opponents during the first round, that's why he was hit a few times (one time?!) in the first. Guerero is a class B fighter that's why he got a round, otherwise it would be a shut out. After rd 1, it was all MoneyMayweather, It is easier said than done, his corner men also told him to use the upper cut but you can't do it when your opponent is as slick and intelligent as Mayweather.

Because Floyd was almost always 1 mile away from him running,
Uppercut can be delivered only in close exchanges.

Mayweather already measures him even before the fight happens that's why he was cherry picked. Mayweather just gave him couple of rounds.

Bro Executioner you mean Team Mayweather gave Guerrero 2 rounds to perform and the rest back to the script? I had the same observation with Ortiz. There were 'in' there for just a couple of rounds...

Floyd's too quick for him. :)

Guerrero should practice DODGEBALL to improve his reflex.
