Frankly it is Pacquiao. Pacman edges Mayweather in terms of all time greatness for fighting the best in his Era. Pacquiao is top 10 while floyd top 25-50.

He will only be remembered as the man who knocked out The Pacman. :biglaugh:
Just as Buster Douglas to Mike Tyson... :toast:

Pacquiao was elected by BWAA as Boxer of the Decade and had been chosen as Boxer of the Year for 3 times.

Floydiots? Battered women three times and sent to jail for 62 days for mauling his live-in partner Harris.. :verymad: :vomit2: :biglaugh:

1. Manny Pacquiao - as Hero
2. Floyd Mayweather - as Villain

3. Marquez - as the yucky pee drinker when mixed with PEDs becomes a Monster!

It's just like any superhero stories...a good guy, bad guy w/ a monster pet!

I think Pacquiao and Mayweather will be mentioned alongside each others name in the future.

Floyd will be remembered as a Chicken Boxer

What if Manny Pacquiao came to you and said, 'I want to fight. I will take all of the tests so that we can fight.'
Floyd: That fight no longer holds weight.

Because he lost twice?
Floyd: If he did, if he didn't. It no longer holds weight. That's not my focus. My focus is myself. Like I said before, I mean it's just basic common sense. Why am I fighting a guy that just took two losses?

in fairness to JMM, i dont think he is comparable to buster douglas. JMM was down 4 times against manny yet, he fought back power for power. he had some blood and guts fights against juan diaz, katsidis, barrera etc. He will not just be remembered as the man who knocked out manny but his counter-punching ability

Floyd will be remembered as the best tactician in his era. he will be mentioned in the same breath with willie pep and pernell whitaker. but there will be alot of criticisms under his fights post lightweight era. further, the names paul williams, antonio margarito, prime cotto and pacquiao will haunt his resume.

pacman will be revered by fans for ages because of his fighting style. he will be remembered as the guy who took all comers, defied weight classes and still come out victorious. his story of rags to riches to politician, philanthropist, entertainer etc will be mentioned. the second coming of homicidal hank, the guy with so much power in left hand.

we may never see another pacquiao in 40 years. hes rare. a pure definition of power, precision and heart
