clottey i think wont be as dangerous as people portray him to be , advantage lang nya maitim cya kaya hindi halata pag may pasa sa mukha

Pero bukol di kayang itago kahit itim siya. :D

Clottey does not have the looks with supreme confidence unlike Steven Seagal and Manny Pacquiao. It is the eye of a tiger.

Pac should stay real focus on this fight.
If Pac cannot fight Mayweather, he's leaning towards retirement after this fight. So this could be his last fight, and there should be an exclamation mark!

A convincing win is necessary. Clottey has never been beaten badly, and if Pac can deliver the right dosage for a submission or TKO/KO so much the better.

Thanks Boss for this thread, lets keep this thread kicking until March 14 (Asian time)!

Its a tough fight for Pacquiao. Sad thing is if he won by KO he'll be accussed of doping. If he lost boxing writers will write him off as a fighter who beats fighters on the downhill of their career.

clottey's got nothing to lose and everything to gain and that means he can afford to be on the offensive which makes him a dangerous opponent... unlike some chicken out there who thinks losing his zero loss record means the end of the world and would rather go out and be defensive making him a not so dangerous opponent...

what time does the actual main event start, philippine time? Is it really at 9am as Dallas is 2 hours time zone difference from Las Vegas? Kasi kung sa las vegas, the main event normally is at 11am philippine time.

I believe that it will go the distance but many people are saying that Pac will knock out Clottey in the early rounds including this guy-

Detroit Boxing Examiner:

“What is your prediction about the Pacquiao- Clottey fight?”

If Joshua Clottey will be his usual passive self and just stand in front of Pacquiao, it will be a short night. I’m going out on a limb here- Pacquiao by TKO in the 4th.

just FYI, Examiner.com has dedicated a link where you can get all the Pacquiao- Clottey articles from all of its Sports Examiners in one page and is being updated constantly. Many articles did not even found its way in PACLAND. The link is located on the upper right side of the site. Check them out.

if "the event" will turn out to be a success revenue-wise, then i don't think manny would retire irregardless if pbf or mosley won't fight him. this would only show that he (manny) is the real draw regardless of who will his next opponent be.
