I, for one was surprised that Clottey was able to get good clean shots at Manny.

One can only wonder if he could have knock Manny down and how many times Clottey
would have gone down himself.

I think we all kept waiting for Clottey to open up & start throwing more punches, but
it never happened.

If Clottey go toe to toe with the PACMAN, he will suffer the same like what HATTON, COTTO and DELA HOYA had suffer. Clottey became more defensive because he was able to feel the power of PACMAN.

i think pacquiao will dart in and out, and clottey will be bewildered and get caught in a whirlwind. . . . his opponents get confused when pac moves effectively in the middle of an exchange. . .

I'm surprised why you were surprised that Clottey was able to get good clean shots at Manny. Manny wasn't surprised because he intentionally exposed himself to Clottey's punches just to get Clottey to go toe-to-toe with him but to no avail. The way Clottey fought, not even Klitschko would be able to knock him out.

Well imo, if J. Clottey would instead fight Manny toe-to-toe.. the outcome of last weekends bout is that we'll all not be able to hear the final bell. It's either Clottey will somehow quit to his stool during the break or the fight will be halt by the referee due to the excruciate punishment that will gonna be inflict by the Pac at the late rounds. :)

Clottey would have had a chance.

If he lost, he would've lost like a real warrior.

if clottey went toe-to-toe against pacman..

definitely, mayweather will ask mosley and GBP to make 5 seasons of rematch clause starting may 1. this means 5 fights with mosley!!! :biglaugh:

If Clottey went toe-to-toe against Manny, he could have won more rounds. Manny could have received more damage in his face. But also, Manny could have TKO'd him. :)
