drian "golden fist" francisco is another fighter who is overhyped, match him any descent boxer and for sure he will lose.

he lacks technical skills,no stamina and easy to get hit since he doesnt move his head.

all his opponents are patsies, so he is not battle tested.

his next fight might be with Hugo Cazares for the world title, and we will witness another filipino prospect be defeated.

perhaps Donaire Sr. can train him

I believe Drian is an exciting boxer like Pacman..I hope he will win in his title fight against the winner between Nashiro and Cazarez.

Donaire is that you?? LOL.. Yeah nice job with Sonsona and Morales who both had trouble making weight for their respective fights, and got knocked out. And by the way Lopez whom Sonsona beat was a class B champ.

I just copied it from another thread

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=167174&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15

from Lusob:

Its good to hype our boxers. Its always good to hype your favorite boxers, no matter how limited their talent, skills or success are. Its always better to be over hype than under hype. What's even more crucial is for these boxers to rise up to the occasion and win everytime your're ready to perform in the world stage. If you lose so be it, learn from it, get better and start again. If you can't win a world title, then go for the minor and regional titles - be the best you can be.

Right now Mexico has 1,770 professional boxers, US has 2,583 pro boxers while the Philippines 530. If you and everyone wish to increase the numbers, so that we can have enough world champion boxing talent to fill the void after Manny retires, then the hype machine has to be cranked up full time.

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=99336&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=30

Even Philippines with its recent success needs to hype its boxers more than ever to be relavant. Remember not only is our boxers competing with the local talent, not only are they competing with other boxers world wide. Their competing with UFC and other sports for money and recognition. If YOU don't hype your favorite boxers then who will?

Only mental midgets believe in jinx. Only backward supertitious, stupid fools believe in bad luck.

Once you have this mindset, you already a loser without even fighting. Either you have what it takes to be world champion on not. If not, you have to get better. You have to improve and get the most of your talent and acquire the necessary world class skills to be competitive.

But the most important thing is protecting your attitude and mindset. Your lazy self destructive mindset always performs to its lowest common denominator. Self doubt, self defeatism and listening to other negative people will only reinforce your losing ways. Always protect your attitude, always be aware of your mindset.

That's the difference between a world champion and a contender. That's the difference between a multiple world champion that continues to win and a one hit wonder.

So if its boxing hype go it, if its telenova and soaps better stick with the TV network professional drama actors.
