to simplify it...Drian F. is a RAW talent with power that is,

his future depends on his HANDLERS

Hope he finds a promising team

and that he keeps his feet on the ground

Nope he is not. He just got an awkward fighting stance that his opponent finds it hard to fight with his style. Drian will become one of RP world champ....

power alone doesn't make one a world champion. just ask boom2.
he keeps his hands down and shows his face when he tries to lunge a punch, keyword here lunge.
let him try that against better opponents and tingnan natin kung di matutulog yan katulad ni boom2.

I can't help but laugh each time I watch him fight... i'm really amazed how he wins against world rated opponent.. His boxing is just.....ugly. Sticking his chin out and his hands down low..sooner or later, he's gonna get caught... swinging wildly and missing then getting off-balance in the process...

IF he has heart, chin, and he has speed, could be a good one.

He is not really that overrated. The one who overrates him are those nuthuggers.

Even the commentators in his last fight knows that his boxing skills are very bad. They defended him though saying that it's his style and he keeps on winning with that style.

If he’s overrated, well, not bad for a college graduate boxer. At least he’s knocking out highly-ranked opposition beside the fact that he lacked typical boxing skills and balance.

drian "golden fist" francisco is another fighter who is overhyped, match him any descent boxer and for sure he will lose.

he lacks technical skills,no stamina and easy to get hit since he doesnt move his head.

all his opponents are patsies, so he is not battle tested.

his next fight might be with Hugo Cazares for the world title, and we will witness another filipino prospect be defeated.

perhaps Donaire Sr. can train him

Pac was even worse in his younger years, IMHO... :)

Drian's pretty talented IMHO.. He's got great reflexes and good punching power.

The best thing about him, IMHO, is that he's a very gutsy fighter. No one can train a boxer to be brave. If a fighter is too scared to get hurt, he'll never be able to fight using his head. He'll only fight using his instinct.

Just look at how Drian dodges and/or parries his opponents punches, and how he throws his punches with such conviction. That only shows how gutsy he is.

I do agree though that he's fundamentally flawed. He still has a lot of work to do. But I do believe he's got lots of potential...

IMHO, he's a lot better than Ciso Morales or even Abe Concepcion.

IN MY OPINION, yeap...

Concepcion, IMHO, has a tendency to get tentative whenever his opponents starts to land (similar to Viloria). To me, that's a sign that he's not as brave as he seems (I won't say "coward", but I think he lack guts. Kung sa bisaya pa, "may pagka talawan"). He looses his wits and simply goes to his comfort zone which is to just lean on the ropes, cover up, and wait til his opponents stop punching. Besides, Concepcion was already beaten twice by lesser opponents (special mention, Mark Sales who has a record of 14 wins and 33 losses... ) I think that loss alone would give justice to what I've said...

indeed... I won't be surprised if he gets KTFoed by Juan Ma when they face off... A lot of people here are praising Abe and bashing Boom2x, but IMHO, Abe's really no better than Boom2x... IMHO, I think DPDL would have knocked him out if he were on Boom2x's shoes that night...
