It's too soon to tell. He needs a trainer that will work on his flaws.

I remember a southpow guy fighting on IBC 13 boxing program more than 15 years ago. That dude has no defense but fun to watch like Francisco. I just can't remember his name. :(

drian slowly but surely gaining respect of boxing community. of course he needs hype to increase his exposure and media attention.

overrated???

i don't think so. the way he fights, he can be at par with current beltholders in his division. he just made his last 2 opponents looks like a nobody when before the fight, they were looked-up as worthy opponents.

drian is 27 years old, and started as pro when he was 22, after finishing his college studies. he is just 5 years pro and need more fights to prove his worth. and right now, that is exactly what he is doing

I don't think he is as good as others think...I can't see the potential in him, becoming a world champion...I could be wrong,or maybe I just don't understand his style... :? :?

yeah and that doesn't apply to drian.
let him try lunging when he punches against good counter-punchers siguradong tulog yan. open na open ba naman eh, baka di niya alam nangyari kay boom.

drian "golden fist" francisco is another fighter who is overhyped, match him any descent boxer and for sure he will lose.

he lacks technical skills,no stamina and easy to get hit since he doesnt move his head.

all his opponents are patsies, so he is not battle tested.

his next fight might be with Hugo Cazares for the world title, and we will witness another filipino prospect be defeated.

perhaps Donaire Sr. can train him

i hate to say it but i told you so
