Mike Tyson of course is different compare to Congressman Manny Pacman Pacquiao. Pac doesnt buy too many luxuries that are useless and most specially, he earned millions of dollars and spend it in Philippines and that makes it double or triple the amount. His income grows even much bigger investing in some big time real properties.

Giving away lands for the poor, computers for the school and money to the people will not make the Great Pac broke, instead the Congressman will win more friends and love and one thing for sure, Pac and his family will surely be blessed with that. Absolutely not the haters and greedy oppurtunists around.

Manny will go broke? Naaahh thats why he had just hired this new accounting company to manage his wealth and to remove most of the the leeches and Koncz especially out of his way. he's invested on real estate, hes a boxing hall of famer, he's a freaking movie star, a top charts singer, a game show host, global and commercial icon, congressman and who knows whatelse. hes a man of many talents. He ain't gonna go broke. maybe some crabs out here in Pacland wishes he would. I think its mayweather who should we be talking about.

here are some alarming similarities when you look at Tyson and Manny Pacquiao. Tyson coming up the chain had a few people in his entourage, but once the money came rolling in, so did the leeches. Does that look familiar at all? Look at Pacquiao's army that surrounds him now. Did we see this in 2001? etc

Mike Tyson lost most of his money, and as his money went so did the leeches. Thankfully, Tyson has regained his footing and has a clean life and a new career in TV. Tyson lost his money through bad investments, bad people around him, ridiculous spending sprees, and folks taking his money behind his back. Anything sound familiar at all?

Manny Pacquiao is one of the nicest guys that a person can meet. His problem is that he's too nice. People are taking advantage of his generosity. Manny spends a lot of money, and he also gives a lot of his money away.

There are some sources that say Manny likes to gamble as well. Look, it's Manny's money so he is free to do whatever he wishes with it. Hopefully he is investing well because if history is any indicator of the future, Manny may end up broke one day.

There are too many cases to count where someone goes from nothing to wealthy, then loses it all due to bad investing, bad people, and bad decisions. There are some people in Pacquiao's circle who are there for their own agendas. For some reason, Manny lets them stay. This may in fact come back to haunt him dearly.

Hopefully it wont be a doomsday scenario for Manny Pacquiao. The ingredient for it is unfortunately present as of today. There is no doubt that Pacquiao has people hovering within his circle that have no care for him whatsoever. They are there for one reason, and one reason only. They want to either take money, or make money off of Manny Pacquiao. This combined with Manny's generosity, and his odd decisions to keep certain cancers within his circle doesn't bode well for his financial future.

He may not be as rich as today, but certainly his family will be well placed to live like a royal family because of their investment in businesses and genuine public service. :)

Pacquiao signs contract - VisionQwest not happy about it
August 6th, 2011
Brad Cooney

8CN has learned that Manny Pacquiao against the will of newly acquired VisionQwest has signed the contract to fight Juan Manuel Marquez. 8CN sources say that VisionQwest is "upset" over the signing. Pacquiao who recently brought in VisionQwest to comb through his financial records and to advise him on business matters, allegedly has signed the contract without consulting with them first. This according to an 8CN source has upset VisionQwest, which can only lead to further issues if the two plan on further business ventures.

This type of thing is becoming common in the land of Pacquiao as the current champ has made some rather odd decisions which seem to do damage to his financial worth. Signing million dollar contracts without consulting with the very people that you have hired to protect you leads to speculations. If it's in fact true that Pacquiao has signed a contract without first consulting with his newly hired business advisers one has to ask, why?

Why would Manny Pacquiao sign a deal without consulting with the very people he brought in to help him with such a matter? BIG questions that 8CN will be chasing in the coming weeks and months.

Pacquiao is street smart and has good friends and advisers who are still amassing wealth and hasn't experienced financial dive. This is where he could count on the likes of Singson, Atienza and Bob Arum. The lessons from Navarette, Espinosa and Tyson are too vivid for him as wake up calls.

his "friends and advisers" are the ones giving him the shaft. Manny my be "street smart" with the mind of a street peddler, but just plain "smart", he's NOT. Manny, himself, has shown the world his many, many, many dumb decisions.

against VisionQwest's wishes, pacquiao signed a contract that will AGAIN make him bend over, grab his ankles, and have the "bobfather" give him the shaft.

Manny will end up broke like Tyson? Highly not. Manny and Tyson is a brainless comparison.

These are the main reasons that separate Manny's life with Tyson.

1. Family - Jinky, Kids, mother, father, brothers, sisters, etc.
2. Place of residence - Manny earnings millions of dollar and spending it in Philippines and having primary residence in Sarangani province is very unlikely to end up broke.
3. Investment in stocks and real properties.

I don't think so. I read years before that Manny signed a LIFETIME contract with San Miguel Beer. Even bigger than what the late Fernado Poe, Jr. signed. This was designed by San Miguel Beer as Manny's "retirement" money to make sure he doesn't end up like Navarette and many other boxers before him. He may not have the same lifestyle, but he surely will live a very comfortable life.
