Could this be a way to stop or somehow lessen the crisis on water territories between the Philippines and Taiwan government?

from intentional (killing) murder to intentional homicide...

taiwan is somewhat softening... probably after they saw the proof and evidence...

i agree with this... we really have a fishing deal...

this would protect our seas...

let's apply UNCLOS international law...

with around 100Km apart between this countries, we should have at least 50KM seas from our farthest island...

not good for our fishermen, even without this fishing agreement, these chinks are already robbing and stealing fish from our territory.. what more if we have a deal? they will come closer..

Good luck sa inyo!

Filipino fishermen with diesel powered motor Banka's VS Taiwanese fishermen with high tech fishing boats and big nets.

Kahit sa sarili nyong bansa, olats parin kayo.

this "FISHING DEAL" will just legalize TAIWAN's illegal fishing activities within the Phil. territory...

No need for that. Why do these Taiwanese ask for a deal when they can fish all they want within their zone? Unless they want to fish outside of their own.

Actually the fish was born in Chinese territory and migrated in philippine zone, so the taiwanese wants them back...

Then that would be an issue of citizenship. Taiwan must show authenticated certificate of live birth to claim.
