That may well be true but it is still a competitive game. Friendly
or otherwise.

Karamihan ng azkals hindi man lang marunong mag tagalog. Lokohan naman yan.

So if a filipino player doesn't speak tagalog coz he grew up overseas he doesn't deserve to represent Philippines? Nakakamangha talaga ang pagka discriminating ng iba nating kababayan..haaay.

Filipino is a nationality not a race. Ang dami pa din pinoy na hindi maka intindi.

If you will check our features today, ibat ibang mukha natin, wala nga tayong identity that would separate us from other nations except yung traits and culture natin.

Example ko ha, if makakita ka ng korean, alam mo na agad na korean 80% ng mga yan have the same feature sa mata, sa kulay. Same as other nationalities. Pero tayo, I can only identify na pinoy yan, by the way we dress, the way we walk but not really the physical features kasi, meron maputi sa atin, maitim, singkit, malaking mata, matangkad, bansot.

We are a product of mix race!

need to explain more?

Eto, I have traveled in South East Asia, everywhere I go, they thought I am a local. Sa indonesia, yung mga ka meeting namin, thought I am indonesian, same sa travel ko sa thailand and vietnam. My boss even cracked a joke, na gusto nya akong mag travel hanggang sa mongolia just to check if local pa din ako dun. So far daw, I am local everywhere in ASIA.

But generally, a Filipino shouldn't look like a caucasian like those comprising majority of the azkal team. it's true that neighboring nations within the southeast asian bloc pretty much resemble one another. would you say that the younghusbands are filipinos (or asians) at first glance? "hey phil you look so filipino as filipino can be! even your accent and name is so filipino" hahahahahaha

my point only is that why force to be in a game where we filipinos are not natural at that we have to compel or import hybrid genes just so that we can join the mainstream league. mixbreeds of asians with similar physiological features will of course bear offsprings with average-size physique typical of the filipino-sizelike asian.

Wud be more fun if azcal team members are purebreds instead of halfcooks! Hahaha! Look at pacquiao, 100% filipino hence more filipinos love him. Them fil-watevers appear live on the tube and its like any normal day, chores run as usual.

yung mga ibang nations din naman pards mga mixed na rin, wala naman masama doon, basta may dugong pinoy oks lang yan.

yup UAE imports from africa too.

your post is an insult to people like me. My mother is filipina and my father is white. You won't be able to tell at first glance that l'm a filipino but you won't be able to tell I'm white at first glance either. So where should I belong? Should I be a man without a country? I'm offended by your belief.

no offense intended. apologies amigo. sabi ko naman generally. basa basa naman kasi ng maigi amigo. hehehehe. the discussion was centered on fil-watevers who don't look so much as the typical filipino playing on the azcal team. it's not a racist statement amigo.
