Its your opinion bro., so don't spread it because if he is overrated as what you've said, he will not become 5 times trainer of the year if I'm not mistaken, even if that awards he got because he trained MP but still he is one of the best trainer out there.

stillwater720 remarked: "Not over rated. Actually he's not just a great trainer but his character fits manny's very well. He doesn't seem to be greedy for money and fame. Actually he even always passes all the accolades to Pac."

I believe stillwater720 described it best. Allow me to summarize in one word, "Chemistry." They complement each other. They make each other look good. Pacquiao makes Roach a better teacher and in turn, Roach makes Pacquiao a better student. Boxing is not just about brute and force. The psychological make up of both trainer and fighter can also spell the difference between victory and agony. Take the case of Victor Ortiz - quitting on Maidana and hugging and kissing Gayweather. Suddenly, Ortiz is perceived as an emotionally weakling rather than that "Vicious" fighter Golden Girl Promotions wanted fans to believe. IMHO, neither Pacquiao nor Roach would be where they are now if not for that fateful day when Pacquiao walked into the Wild Card Gym and Roach accepting the challenge by saying, "You got a new trainer." Or course, let's not forget the supporting cast. Like take for example, Buboy Fernandez. I believe he provides that encouraging and stabilizing words to Pacquiao in his corner after each and every round.

I believe the same "Chemistry" led Michael Jordan and (Coach) Phil Jackson to 6 NBA Titles and Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson to 5 NBA Titles. Like Pacquiao and Roach, they were aided by excellent supporting cast. Jordan/Jackson had Scottie Pippen while Kobe/Jackson had the rest of the team.

Please don't ask me to explain. IMHO, I don't think anyone can. All I can say is, when a team's got that "chemistry," success awaits. Just my own 2 cents.

"Angelo Dundee is a great trainer because of Muhammad Ali? Who else did he train?"

I believe he was "Sugar" Ray Leonard's trainer. +1

He trained George Foreman when he fought Michael Moorer for Heavyweight Championship in 1994. +1

He also acted as a "special consultant" to Team Dela Hoya when he was training for Pacquiao. -1

Like Teddy Atlas, Dundee always bet against Pacquiao. As a punishment, he gets a score of -to the infinite number.

Whoever says Roach is overrated doesn't know sh!t.....Roach deserves all the accolades coming to him. He has paid his dues and without him , Manny Pacquiao would not be as improved as he is. He has definitely earned his spot!
