So who gives a shiit about them? They paid him good, he trained them. They're celebrities, they could have went to anyone but they went to Roach.

But anyway let's talk about Silva and GSP. What's their p4p rankings again?

GSP successfully defended his title by throwing jabs, overhand right and counter hooks, it almost shut both eyes of his opponent, i just forgot the name of his opponent. Roach is GSP's boxing coach.

Roach

"I thought we were going to walk right through him. I thought he was going to come in with all that muscle, try to bang with Manny and he would get him out of there.

I think he's a good trainer but he is overly hype thanks to Pacquiao. He does know how to play the business game of boxing. From marketing, managing and of course training, he knows how to get his name and fighters out there. With today's social media, its easy for him to get exposure.

As for training boxers, I'm disappointed how Manny fought JMM and Cesar Chavez Jr. has looked in his last fights. By now he would'vd figured out how to handle a counterpuncher and with Julio, his should be better by now but instead it's almost non-existent.

In my opinion, just because his fighter loses, a trainer which was voted Trainer of the year 2003, 2006,2008,2009 and 2010 by the Boxing Writers Association of America is not overrated as a trainer.
