Those who think that Manny is invincible. We've got the answer.
Styles make fights.
Pacquiao looked like the old Pacquiao in there. One-dimensional and tentative.
Marquez truly got his number.

Such a humbling experience. A victory that is undeserved and still left a bitter taste in the mouth.

Pactards, revisit your brutally one-sided predictions.
Deep inside i know you have second thoughts now if Manny can really beat Mayweather.

Manny should change his signature post-fight remark...

From,

Thank God for the victory!

To,

Thank Bob for the victory!

He has every reason to whine now more than ever. He deserves a 4th chance.
Maybe God really came in there to help Marquez to remind the Pactards that Manny is not "God".

Correct, style make fights. But why can't Marquez style overwhelm Pacman?

Seriously, it's funny why you think Marquez won but he was punched more.

Controversial it is, but wass not a robbery as others may say. The judges gave close scores and wasn't a lopsided decision at all. They scored it as they saw the fight. Pacquiao was the agressor, and landed more shots than Marquez. I saw the fight Pacquiao won by a small margin again.

Marquez took away Pacquiao's mean left straights and right hooks. What a performance of a lifetime that was not justly rewarded. The killer instinct was gone. There was no sense of urgency for Pacman. First time he showed fear in letting his hands go. This could be his lowest punch output at the elite level.

What happened to the "hattonized" and brutal 1st round predictions?

Looks like Marquez has already developed some sort of anti-body against pac's KO virus :bounce1:

no knockdowns in 12 rounds! unbelievable.... hats off to jmm... good job, but.... he needs to do more to expect a win against packy...

At the end of 12th round, Marquez raised his hand. Pac walked towards his corner head low and shaking it in frustration. Actions speak louder than words.

Manny should seriously consider retirement two bouts from now. The writing is on the wall. He walked in there thinking he could wobble Marquez each time he connected his left. That left hand paled in comparison to clean shots connected by marquez's right.

Yes, It was a close fight but if you noticed no Judge gave the fight to Marquez compared to the second fight where it was a split decision.

Anyway, a win is a win and being a challenger Marquez should have really overwhelmed Manny to grab the championship.

That being said kudos to Marquez at his age he really gave Manny a run for his Money.
