Just really curious here. On the first two fights, both fighters' faces were marked up pretty bad after the fight. You can tell that both guys hit each other with everything but the kitchen sink. Blood, cuts, bumps, bruises, you name it.
The third time however, I noticed that Pac's face, minus the eyebrow cut caused by the headbutt and cut lip, pretty much appeared unmarked, even though JMM hit him with some good shots, while JMM looked like he got ran over again by a mack truck. What's going on here?...What's your guys take on this? Again, just curious. Thanks.

That shows you Pacquiao landed more powershots than Marquez on the face.

With the exception of the cut that Manny suffered during the Head Butt incident,

You would never known he was even in a fight.

Even CLOTTEY marked up Manny's face pretty good.

its a matter of common sense mp landed more blows than jmm, which recah, dsource and the sri lankan nathanielz do not have( they have an uncommon sense, they pride themselves as better judge than the judge in the ringside by implying in the whole world that the judges decision is a robbery).

Michael Grant even reported to Doug Fischer at Ringtv.com that even though Marquez was very competitive there was NO WAY that Marquez did enough to win against Manny on Nov 12.

Last time I checked he was still an African American....But now he'll be called a Pactard.

Bro, like i said in previous post ( Do we not want a smart Pacquiao?), Manny fought
a brilliant technical fight against Marquez and won. He improved in controlled aggression,
defense as well, which explains Manny's clean face vs. Marquez.

In Pac vs. Marquez 1 and 2, if you take out the 4 knock downs, Manny would have lost. This means that in part 1 and 2 of this trilogy, Manny on a round to round basis was out boxed
by Marquez, except he got the knock downs to equalize things.

In this third fight, Manny had no benefit of knock downs, yet still beat Marquez in the latter's
own technical, chess match style.

Manny is a more improved, technical fighter, definitely!

Out expectations were too overblown. Cotto tagged Manny with more power shots in 4 rounds into their fight before the knock down, than Marquez in all 12 rounds with Manny. But when Cotto hit Manny, we saw it positively : wow Manny can take the shots of Cotto?

But when marquez tags Manny, wow a 38 year old is able to hi pacquiao? ..lol

glass is half full, not half empty

i like the way you address Ronnie Nathanielz, we should always call him the SRI LANKAN Nathanielz..then it feels ok to see him why he is exaggerately acting like that...for Dsource, no harm, as he is just a blogger, who just want to satisfy his juvenile ego..and i could be a blogger too.. For Recah, not fully aware, how from the beginning of Pac's career, he is always on the other side of the coin..maybe he lost some admirers for making miscalculated boxing analysis everytime Pacquiao proved him wrong...

totally agree. very well said. marquez played or was forced to play a safe game, because he knows that the new pacquiao can blow him out now with a single mistake. A mistake which Marquez can afford to do many many times during the first two fights.

the problem with these pseudo-boxing is they think they have better judgement than ordinary fans.

Some of the telling and cleaner blows and those combinations by JMM, according to the boxing experts and the "feeling experts", were actually blocked or evaded by Pacquiao. Their faces indeed tell us the story.

For me, not really that bad for Pac's first fight as a "technical fighter" :D

yup, pac was clearly blocking a lot of these supposed 'scoring punches' of JMM.
