Inoue has a big cut over his right eye from that left hook and it looks bad!

Round three: Inoue 30-27 Donaire

Donaire is trying his best to keep Inoue up against the ropes and is really putting pressure on him as the Japanese fighter keeps poking at his eye and rubbing it. Inoue continues to land from distance and is using his slightly bigger reach to jab.

Round four: Inoue 40-36 Donaire

Inoue's hands are so fast! His combination punching is what is setting them apart and he's using his feet and good headwork to make Donaire miss. He's only just missing though, and it's a much tougher fight than he could possibly have thought. Can Donaire keep it up though?

Round five: Inoue 50-45 Donaire

DONAIRE HURT!

Inoue unloads absolutely brutal shots and the Phillipino legend is out on his feet, he's saved by the bell.
It started with a big left hook followed by an overhand right but Donaire somehow hung on long enough! It could be all over next.

Round six: Inoue 60-54 Donaire

Another great round! Donaire has done so well to compose himself and get back into the fight, he's still unfortunately losing the rounds but he looked more comfortable.

Inoue's power and stamina will likely shine through in the later rounds, he is the much younger man here.

Round seven: Inoue 69-64 Donaire

Inoue is taking a lot more shots than he's previously been used to in his career, including a really big straight right hand followed by a short left.

He doubled up the jab and I give Donaire that round.

Round eight: Inoue 78-75 Donaire

Donaire lands a great stiff right hand and Inoue takes a step back! Inoue's hands drop and then both men begin to trade. What a fight!

Inoue then lands some punishing body shots but Donaire stands them all up. A really good round for Donaire who lands an uppercut and left hook to again reopen the cut on the right eye.

What a round!

The doctor will at some point have to look at the cut on Inoue's eye - and we've seen a lot of incidents recently with cuts that have stopped short fights.

Let's hope that doesn't have to happen here.

Round nine: Inoue 87-84 Donaire

Donaire ROCKS Inoue! A huge right hand and Inoue has to hold but the WBA champion is really landing at will and this was definitely not in the script!

Inoue's face is a bloody mess and that was his worst round yet. Is Donaire's experience simply going to prove too much?

Donaire is closing the gap big time here.

Round 10: Inoue 97-93 Donaire

Donaire's right hand is fantastic, he's doubling it up every time he throws but Inoue manages to get back into it and finishes the round so well, well enough to take it! He stunned Donaire with a great overhand right and another incredible round.

I had that as a Donaire round right up until the last minute but that was some very solid work to close it out.

Round 11: Inoue 107-101 Donaire

DONAIRE DOWN! He's winded and seriously hurt but gets up somehow! Inoue then unloads a barrage but Donaire somehow throws his own straight right back and lands to hurt Inoue.

Inoue is far too fresh and just walks Donaire down, he keeps going and we reach the end of the round! The first 10-8.

Inoue comes in with a devastating 89% knockout ratio
Fight could be one of Donaire's last
Winner will lift prestigious World Boxing Super Series trophy

Round 12: Inoue 117-110 Donaire

Donaire has absolutely nothing left in the tank but is still on his feet. Inoue is finishing really strongly and is equally tired but still landing. He takes that round and should, on my card, be crowned WBSS champion.
