MANILA, Philippines — Manny Pacquiao rumbles with Tim Bradley on June 9 in Las Vegas with a victory likely setting him up for a fourth fight with Mexican nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez in November in case Floyd Mayweather Jr. continues to play hardball.

The prospects of a fourth fight becomes even more realistic now that efforts to stage a Pacquiao-Mayweather showdown appear to have gone down the drain, leaving Mayweather to tap Miguel Cotto as foe for May 5 and Pacquiao opting to pick on Bradley.

Marquez’s name once again rang loud as the 38-year-old counterpuncher is close to signing a deal to square off with Lamont Peterson in mid-July with the winner being eyed by Top Rank chief Bob Arum to clash with the Pacquiao-Bradley winner.

Timothy Bradley on board, in principle, for Manny Pacquiao fight
Timothy Bradley agreed in principle Thursday to fight Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, fulfilling a lifetime ambition for the unbeaten, Cathedral City-based world junior-welterweight champion.

"This is about being the No. 1 fighter in the world, and that's what my goal has been for as long as I can remember," Bradley said.

Bradley declined to reveal terms of his agreement, which he said could be signed as early as Friday, but his guarantee is believed to be more than $5 million.

Pacquiao had previously agreed in principle to terms for a Bradley fight.

Pacquiao vs Bradley: Timothy Bradley to Make Around $5 Million For June 9 Clash
While we've already talked about Timothy Bradley's early analysis of Manny Pacquiao being a beatable fighter for him on June, let's talk about money a little bit. Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times reports that Bradley will make by far a career-best payday, as everyone knew he would, receiving the same $5 million guarantee given to Shane Mosley and Juan Manuel Marquez last year against Pacquiao -- or at least close to it.

Bradley declined to reveal terms of his agreement, which he said could be signed as early as Friday, but fight promoter Bob Arum said there was no reason to doubt that Bradley will have around the same $5-million guarantee that Pacquiao's most recent two opponents had.

Bradley signs $5 million contract to fight Pacquiao
WBO junior welterweight titleholder Tim Bradley signed a $5 million contract on Thursday evening to face WBO welterweight beltholder Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, according to a report by Kevin Iole of Yahoo!Sports.

It's a fight that Bradley honestly believes he can win.

"This is nothing different for me. Manny is a great fighter, no doubt about it. How can you not respect him tremendously?" said Bradley (28-0, 12 knockouts), who signed with Top Rank in late September of last year with the expressed desire to face Pacquiao.

Pacquiao Guaranteed $25-M In Fight Against Bradley
World welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao will be guaranteed $25 million, the biggest purse of his career, when he faces undefeated American challenger Tim Bradley on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao’s promoter, Hall of Famer Bob Arum, had told the Manila Bulletin last week that Pacquiao will receive “his biggest guaranteed purse” against Bradley, although the Top Rank chief declined to say exactly how much.
