This is an excerpt from the article "Bob Arum refuses Pacquiao-Bradley rematch, wants investigation into scoring controversy
by Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports" regarding the statement of one of the judges, Ford who scored a win in favor of Bradley:

"Ford spoke by telephone to Yahoo! Sports on Sunday. He said the criticism is a part of the job he accepts, but said those criticizing the outcome are almost certainly not familiar with the way fights are judged."
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/boxing--pa ... ford-.html

Does this mean that all the sports media personalities who have been in the pro boxing for so many years who scored the bout a win for Pacquiao, including among others HBO’s longtime unofficial scorer and recent New York Hall of Fame inductee Harold Lederman who had scored the bout 119-109, do not know how to score a pro boxing match?

Is the reasoning of this judge acceptable? What do you think guys?

It is not what you know, it is how you can prove it...........ford and ross should justify how they scored it for bradley.....

I really hope a serious investigation does push through. I'm not thinking so much of this fight anymore, but more for the future of boxing. Bribed or biased judges will now have to think twice specially if an anomaly is discovered and brought to light.
