Imagine NBA commish David Stern doing the same thing.
3 refs blow a playoff game with their bad calls.
The media and the world are up in arms.
They world threatens Stern to do something or they'll boycott the NBA games.
Stern then releases a statement, the refs will not be punished even if found erroneous on that one playoff game.
