The present world knew Pacquiao won the fight with Bradley, Pacquiao was robbed. But more than 50 yrs from now, Bradley will go down in the history book as the boxer who beats Manny Pacquiao.

that fight will be forgotten... even historians will not gave focus on that....

Most of the HOFamers being discussed are on their victory/accomplishment and less in their defeat....

......by using his FACE to batter Manny's FISTS. :biglaugh:

Kidding aside, the controversial loss of Joe Gans to Battling Nelson more than a hundred years ago (1908) is
firmly enshrined in history books as testament to Gans greatness as a boxer. Due to racist discrimination, all
odds were stacked in favor of his white opponent, like the weight limit being lowered to 133 (Lightweight) and
demanding that Gans weigh-in at ringside with boxing gears on (effectively reducing further the weight limit by
2 lbs). It was noted that Gans was a natural WW that time when Nelson was a LW.

If details of Gans' controversial loss are still being talked about today when his ranking as Top ATG is examined,
what more of this Pac-Bradley controversy (some say it's robbery of the century) when both fighters' ranking are
examined 50 years (only?) from today?

Really? Nah it's in the history books and no one can deny this fix. Ali phantom punch against Liston, Lewis draw with Holyfield are just some big time championship match that were fixed and will never be forgotten, just like this latest one. It's part of history and maybe a lesson that anyone should never forget.

Did you ever hear of Jimmy Young? How about Leon Spinks? I thought so. Nobody ever heard of them again. Jimmy Young was one of the only two men who beat George Foreman. Leon Spinks has a win over Muhammad Ali. Will we hear about Ali and Foreman many years from now? Of course, their names will live on even beyond our time. History always enshrines Hall of Fame boxers and other athletes. Will we hear about Jimmy Young and Leon Spinks years from now? I hope so but they will never be mentioned in the company of boxing greats. Will we hear about Tim Bradley? I hope so but I don't think he will ever be remembered as anything more than a boxer who owned a controversial win over Pacman. Manny Pacquiao is of course different. Even your great grandchildren will be talking about him. He has gone beyond even the sport itself.

if reforms are finally instituted in boxing paving the way for the creation of a us boxing com regulating everything from selection of refs and judges to testing and all that then this pac-bradley will be talked about for generations as the fight that led it all.

Bradley will probably join Rustico Torrecampo selling buko juice in quiapo.. the only difference between them is Torrecampo clearly knockout Pacquiao and Bradley had to be an american to get the approval of 3 judges. :biglaugh:
