if counter puncher boxers are thinking they have enough in their arsenal to defeat the pacman, now is the time to think again. according to our silent witness, the compubox, pacman just registered a complete shutout victory over his old nemesis juan manuel marquez, in every department. this silent witness had marquez doing good performances in their first two fights. yet in their very recent clash, compubox registered a total failure for JMM to outpoint pacquiao in terms of total punches, jabs and power punches that landed. with this, i'd say that marquez was lucky enough to have one ringside judge scoring their fight at 114-114 even, when it should have been a unanimous decision for pacman. this shows that pacman had once again attained a new level in which not only that he can adjust to counter punching opponents, but can handle them good as well.

i guess there are still those who do not know or unaware that the compubox had
already been used not only in the olympics but in professional boxing as well.

Your point is very well made TS.

In this bout, JMM got beat at his own game by Pacquiao.

Whoever thought that Manny would be disciplined enough to beat JMM at his own game without exposing

the other cards in his arsenal to the prying members of Team Mayweather?

That was a High Stakes Poker Play right there! 8)

many are entertaining the idea that if pac fights floyd now, floyd is gonna whip manny's arss. that's easy thing to say but so hard for floyd to do coz floyd is no marquez. the difference between floyd and marquez is that the latter always tend to throw back counter punches or fights toe-to-toe when under pressure or attack. floyd on the other hand, though a brilliant counter puncher, almost always go on defensive mode when under pressure/attack and hardly throws a punch. just imagine how many punches manny can deliver if his opponent is focused on his defense and barely throws a punch. besides, i don't think floyd is really interested in fighting manny right now because floyd can't handle fighting a lefty, unlike marquez who, more than anybody else in boxing, have at least came close to unlocking the pacman puzzle.

Tama ito. Kaya nga iba pa rin puwede mangyari. Maaaring talo, pero hindi sigurado iyon gaya ng iniisip ng iba.

Floyd's offense is also different from Marquez. He said it himself. He is a sharpshooter, that he does not need to throw hundreds of punches. Let's see.

Correct! As a challenger that never got a decision in the first two fights, Marquez should have known better not to fight very cautious and go for the KO if he really thinks he's superior over Pac. Cry Baby is garbage!

mayweather is only sharpshooter against orthodox fighters, but against lefties, it's still a big question mark. the best strategy pacquiao can do against mayweather is to smother him with punches, never let floyd establish and maintain safe distance because that's where and when floyd's punches are effective. only one or two big bombs are needed from manny to initiate and unleash more heavy bombs. remember that floyd's chin is suspect as proven by mosley, whereas manny's is durable and tested.

manny's ability to handle counter punchers is getting better each time he fights marquez.
pacman will surely make a very surprising win against JMM on their 4th encounter come december 8.
