Actually, Martin Nievera did a very good job although it almost got him into trouble with the Philippine officials for altering the tune. Jazmine Villegas also did a fine job. (She's not a kid, anymore.) The 3 Filipina divas also did a mah-ve-lous job wearing the native Philippine gala to boot, for the world to see. Americans (fans and celebrities alike) are notorious for butchering their own Star Spangled Banner and always get away with it. Roseann Barr did the grab-crotch-and-spit during a national TV baseball game; Christina Aguillera forgot the lyrics during a Super Bowl game in front of 110 M viewers.

The Random Girl, Zendee Rose Tenerefe will probably join the lists of popular singers who have been part of the Pacquiao boxing history as the Filipino world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao personally handpicked the singer of the national anthem.

Zendee Rose who appeared lately on the popular US Talk Show of Ellen Degeneres, was optimistic that she will be chosen besides from the fact that she was a native of General Santos, the birthplace of the People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao.

The fourth face-off between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez could be the last fight of the world’s most popular boxer, he was also named by the WBO as Fighter of the Decade a few days ago.

Although the camp of Manny Pacquiao did not named any singer who will be singing the Lupang Hinirang for Pacquiao’s fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, Zendee Rose is positive enough that she will be chosen.

Zendee Rose who hails from General Santos City was also sponsored by Manny Pacquiao on her college education, and she volunteered herself to be part of the Ninong Team of Manny Pacquiao.

The Random Girl YouTube sensation who is currently under contract with Warner Music for an album recalled her first encounter with Manny Pacquiao during the show “Manny Many Prizes.”

Although Zendee Rose was not confirmed yet as the singer of the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Marquez 4 boxing match, the YouTube sensation is still positive for her inclusion.
