The next logical thing to do is perhaps a tune up fight because we certainly don't want the "bahala na" come what may approach.

I will state again that Pacquiao is knocking on greatness door here.
History is repeating itself again. Other's sink in this given situation e'g David Diaz, Naz Hamed, Tyson etc..
And while others swim Robinson, Ali , Hearns, Duran , Tzsyu and even Michael Jordan.

Can Pacquiao do it???
I Reckon he can.
Even a 39 years old fighter was able to transform himself into a hulk,
Pacquiao can surely transform himself into superman again. { at huwag naman sanang kumander Bawang o Captain Barbel at saka si Kalayaan lang Kasi lagapak parin yon}

We are living in Pacquiao's era. It's his story to tell and the KO was just a twist in his masterpiece. Just be thankful you've witness one of the greatest.

I agree. In Pilipino it means, "pahinay hinay Lang".

Lets take it easy, don't rush making a comeback. Yeah, a tune up fight even in Manila
Would be good!

That may be well and good for Pacquiao's health but if he can
only fight in September next year in a "tune-up" match, the
chance of a rematch fight against Marquez gets slimmer.

Pacquiao and Marquez V, after a Pac fight with a feather-fisted
boxer to test his psyche, can only be staged on 2014--a Cinco
de Mayo bout or earlier? Still, while it may be good for Pacquiao's
sake, what about Marquez? He's not getting any younger. And
after a long wait--well over a year--his interest for a rematch
could wane. The urges to retire, by wife, family, and friends of
Marquez take over.

Pacquiao can bounce back to greatness--a tall order--given his
life no longer revolves solely around boxing. It's not that he will
give up his politics and other activities to redeem himself after
getting KTFO. So, even if he does try to take back the alpha male
spot, he may have to do it without Marquez, by that time.

And most importantly, only if he still can.

he can still bounce back from that loss. one single punch does not mean too much at all. i cannot blame manny for running into that punch. how many times he was hit by marquez with a right hand and never wobble or knock down? the only mistake that the team pacquiao was not taking a 24/7 drug testing when they knew heridea was working with juan. after seeing marquez was so ripped at 39 all roach had done was accused him, why not push it thru. the result, marquez had no respect on manny's punches even he was badly hit and most of all, every solid overhand right that landed, packy was down. marquez was not known as a one punch ko artist but why at the age of 39, he is getting better? the angel or devil heridea was the big factor on that fight whether they cheat or did it honestly.

So far any "super duper, extraordinary human feat" today, ESP. After Lance A's admission
is really suspect, -

1) Lance with 7 Tour de France gold is suspect.

2) Now "Usain Bolt" is suspect too given who is around him in camp and his wins are too spectacular.

Manny Pacquiao is less suspect because he got KO'd. He is in short, just human and most likely doesn't do it. In fact he may have aged a bit.

Marquez at that age... Given what he did, He got to be suspect.

Visually and performance wise, without testing.. Some can be suspect and should be treated as suspect. It doesn't mean they guilty, but yeah, for me they would all be suspect esp. After
This Lance thing proved that you can escape many drug tests!
