Ok, I love Manny Pacquiao but then again, the "unexamined life is not worth living", right?

There is that song, "What's it all about Alfie"?

So WHY is Manny Pacquiao fighting or still in Boxing? WHY not retire in 2013?

Is it the money? So it's about the money, just money?

Is it for the glory of the Philippines? ... Aw, bullshit!

Is it for his political career? ..meaning, the money and the global popularity ( as long as he is
WINNING can help him become someday El Presidente!)

Is it because he needs to prove to himself he is a polymath. Someone good in everything
From basketball, acting, politics, boxing, singing? So it's all about his big EGO? Hmm.. Ganun ba kababaw ang PAMBANSAnG KAMAO? ..hard to believe this.

Is Manny Pacquiao simply LOST? Is there some unexplained hunger in him that even he can't understand and control? For example, why is he trying to do too many things? Show biz then,pastor biz now. Why the rosary never failed him, then he quickly and easily junks it?

It's primarily due to his personality type. Manny loves and seeks attention. He thrives with things that put him in the spotlight. Big time boxing, being an actor, singing, even the pestor issue, Manny welcomed these with open arms because of all the attention that these activities bring.

Unfortunately though, he can't have enough and he is spreading himself thin. Classic "I" type as discussed in the DISC personality theory.

It's not all about attention as well, he seeks approval too more importantly. That is why the last fight with Marquez left a bad taste in the mouth. To Manny he can't leave like that as it will eat him up inside.

He will be back and if he will have his way it will be against Marquez.
