Majority of the Filipino people are so naive. Paquios's defeat should be "taken with a grain of salt". I suspect our "National Fist" was a victim of science used the wrong way. In the latest fight, the game changer was Marquez' super extra-ordinarily strong punching power. After only a year of partnership with a shady character, Mr. Angel Heridia( A self confessed Performance Enhancing Drugs dealer), It finally paid dividends for Marquez with a shocking knock-out win. Marquez a career featherweight and was not known for his one-punch knock-out power becomes a one punch knock-out sensation overnight...something's fishy here. Marquez on the twilight of his career is obsessed and desperate to get a win against Pacquiao. A person exhibiting this type of behavior will do anything possible, even going illegal to achieve his goal which includes building a bigger and stronger muscle the "un-natural" way. Let me explain further: A 23 year old man working out the natural way would take at least 2 years to develop a body builders physique. An older man say at 38 would take a longer time since the body's metabolism have slowed down during this stage. Marquez now 39 and only after a year of partnership with Mr. Heredia have developed a body builder's physique. This type of transformation can't be done thru natural means. It can only be explained by one thing----the use of Anabolic substance. Anabolic substances allows your muscle to train hard without tiring easily thus you develop bigger and stronger muscles in a short period of time....Many were saying that Paquiao was knocked-out because he was hit "right on the money". Paquiao is known for his sturdy chin. He was hit with those same solid shots by Marquez the previous year but it never folded him. Granting this time around he was hit flush on the face, if it was only Marquez' natural strength, the worst Paquiao could get into would be a flash knockdown and he would still be able to get up. Rendering Paquiao unconscious for a long period of time suggest super human strength something Marquez is not known for. In the news lately, Marquez is very confident to undergo any drug test. Does the name Marion Jones ring a bell to anyone? She won a gold medal in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. During this time Mr. Heredia was the one administering the drugs to her. She never tested positive for drugs because Mr. Heredia is an expert in masking any banned substance.Only after many years removed from the competition that she was exposed as a drug cheat...... Now let us shift our focus to the sport of boxing in general. If one fighter was able to get away with "juicing himself up" then there is no reason why others would not follow suit. Boxing will become a very dangerous sport. Many fighters will be seriously injured or worst get killed especially if the one "juicing up" is a talented and accurate puncher like Marquez. I discourage Paquiao to fight Marquez again because the next time around, he will surely suffer a much worst outcome...

The born agains are telling him its a test of faith. Why would it be a test of faith? I thought he would have 10 thousand angels on his side since he was born again, and if god was for him who could be against him? Manny shouldn't say that because Marquez also has faith.

Bring back the old Manny who just prayed privately.

Born Again is not working for him. why wait? go back to catholic!

How can he go back to being a Catholic when he is surronded by Pastors 24/7 who keep brainwashing him, they know if they let him go he might have returned, Pacmans problem is he didn't seek out a catholic teacher to teach him the way.

Also I read an interview where someone asked Manny why he become born again he said because he doesn't believe in Mary or something like that.

Manny also said that a preacher helped save him by telling him he will burn in hell if he continued to pray to the saints and idoltry of Catholics.

Manny brain is easy to manipulate if he were smart he would take these losses as a sign that these born again false prophets are destroying the one true church by dividing it with 35 thousand denominations and all of them are using it for self serving purposes such as financial gain through fear and anti catholic agenda.

If these were true Christians they wouldn't need to bash the catholic church to gain followers. Catholics don't do that, you go to mass and they don't do a rock music and loud mouth preaching with boastful and bragging sermons like you will have 10 thousand angels with you.

Let's just get behind Nonito Donaire, at least he has a brain, personality and can think for himself.

Pacquiao marks b-day with worship songs, 'angels'

MANILA, Philippines – Amid debates about how his change in faith has affected his performance inside the ring, eight-division boxing champion and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao made it clear that he is sticking with his religious decision.

The boxer celebrated his 34th birthday in General Santos City on Monday, which featured praise and worship numbers and usherettes dressed like angels.

The theme of his party showed his commitment to his faith, and it was attended by his close friends within and outside showbiz and politics -- most of them fellow born-again Christians.

Hosted by actor Cesar Montano, the party was a star-studded bash with Christian singers Kuh Ledesma, Gary Valenciano and his son Gab performing a number of popular worship songs.

Ledesma sang Casting Crown’s “Who Am I” and Michael Smith’s “Above All,” while the Valencianos performed “Shout For Joy.”

Valenciano also sang his inspirational hit, “Warrior is a Child.”

“You have proven yourself not just on the ring but more so outside of the ring. May God bless you more Congressman. The only problem would be where to store the blessings that He has for you,” Valenciano told Pacquiao.

Also present was balladeer Richard Poon, who performed a number of Christmas songs.

International singer David Pomeranz also took the stage and sang his hit single “Got to Believe in Magic.”

No dancing from Mommy D

Unlike in previous celebrations, Pacquiao’s mother Dionesia, or Mommy D to many, did not perform a number, saying she cannot do it anymore.

“Ayaw ko mag-dance. Bawal sa akin. Mataas ang uric acid ko. Mahihilo ako. Iniingatan ko ang katawan ko, malapit na ang concert namin ni Imelda (Papin),” she explained.

She, however, joined Pacquiao’s family despite being very vocal about her disapproval of her son’s decision to change his religion.

Apart from his celebrity buddies, Pacquiao’s children also did not let the night pass without offering something for their father.

His kids Jimuel, Michael, Princess, and Queenie also performed some Christian numbers which they dedicated to their dad.

A grateful Pacquiao

Meanwhile, Pacquiao became a little emotional as he thanked those who came out to attend his party.

“Maraming maraming salamat po sa patuloy na pagsuporta niyo sa akin. Nag-uumapaw ang aking pasasalamat sa pagdalo niyo sa aking kaarawan ngayon,” he siad.
Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao speaks during his 34th birthday celebration.

Pacquiao said he is extremely happy to be surrounded by those who matter to him on his special day, especially after his shocking loss to Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez.

“Pinatunayan ninyo na kahit ano pa man ang kinahinatnan ng aking laban, hindi niyo ako iniwan. Gusto ko malaman niyo na kayo rin ang aking inspirasyon. Kaya nagiging emotional din ako minsan kapag nakikita ko kayong malungkot. Masakit na masakit sa puso ko iyon pero I have to accept it kasi God has a plan,” he said.

Despite his two losses this year inside the ring, the boxing icon said he is overwhelmed by the many blessings that have been coming his way.

Eh saan nga ba ilagay Brother Gary?

Looks like Gary wants a piece of the pie too lol

Pacman is fickle, the reason he likes these Born Again boastful pastors is because th3ey kiss his butt and tells him what he wants to hear, Manny seems insecure, like he doesn't realize the only reason they are around you is because you are a rich and famous filipino giving them money, if Pacman realized when he was just a boxing star and not a global icon he didn't have these born agains trying to pester him, he was just a humble catholic who had some human vices of drinking and gambling and such. If he wanted to learn more why didn't he go to the catholics who let him be and didn't force him or scare him?

A smart man will realize these born agains are just with him because of the money and fame. Father Marlon never asked for a luis vuitton bag or money, he was there for Manny and let Manny train in peace, he never told Manny you must do 3 bible study a day, he knew boxing was important and he just prayed for him and let Manny train in peace.

Manny seems to love people who stroke his ego. They warn you in the bible of these loud mouth two face preachers, those who preach the loudest you have to be careful.

I understand your concern about Pacquiao's safety. But boxer's have fought under the same rules for decades now. Manny just adheres to the same rules that he followed when he was beating up bigger guys and winning those championship. It would be hypocritical of him now to demand other tests that was not there before. That's pulling a Floyd.

As with the Marion Jones example, the truth has a wonderful habit of coming out no matter what. If there's any truth to Marquez doping just to get that edge over Pacquiao, it will come out, one way or the other. So far, no superstar or big name athlete that cheated have gotten away with it. So let it run its course and just hope that no one is killed because one of the fighter is suspected of PEDS.

You notice also, why are they so aggressive on Manny? if Manny was a poor boxer would they feel the same way of trying to SAVE him?

They saw Manny being generous so they said hey let me get some of that money too!

Manny should learn from Evander holyfield, the rich Pastor Creflo Dollar who Evander gave 15 million dollars in tithings too, told Evander you must give money to be blessed! well now Evander is broke, where is that Born again evangelist pastor now? When Evander is going broke and losing his home how come that Pastor never gave him some millions in return to bless Evander?

Pacquiao needs to wake up, these pastors are not really christian men, they are using the name of the lord to make money its a shame and they do so by using anti catholic propaganda, if you have to bash another persons faith to gain followers and tell lies you are not worthy to be followed. They like to call the catholics pagans and anti christ and all this crap, its already too much, if they want to gain followers why do they JUDGE and scare others to donate or else they will not be saved!
