yes, i'd say that aside from manny's actual foe in the ring, he has another opponent, an invisible one that lurks within him: the state of being complacent. and out of that would come a surprise that does the most damage . unless manny rids himself of this demon, there will always be a very big possibility of a repeat of that tragic KO loss.

well, sometimes a loss is necessary to make one realize what he was doing, what went wrong and what needs to be addressed.

an ordinary loss, yes! but that brutal knock out might made him to believe that he has done nothing wrong at all! :peace:

charging towards an opponent with both hands down and getting smacked right on his face is something really very wrong.

that sounds like a penitence bro, pero malayo pa biyernes santo. he's got to act early, go back to his spartan like discipline in training with no short cuts and forget the past experiences against marquez where he has gotten so familiar with, a familiarity that bred complacency in him.

agree, Manny has to get rid of his demons, mentally and physically.

otherwise......everytime he fights, he will present his opponent an opportunity for a luckypunch

yeah, and i have the feeling that manny's getting used to going easy on some of his fights more than once (larios and moseley) and even admitted of having under-estimated marquez in their 3rd fight. sometimes it would take knocking him down for him to get back into reality and realize what's at stake. we definitely do not want him to stick to this kind of mindset. he must get rid of it, no more mr. nice guy and no more excessive touch gloves.

come to think of it, these pastors swarming all over manny can actually be put to use by the pacquiao camp. perhaps these pastors are powerful enough to exorcise these demons out of pacquiao. ano palagay nyo, me powers kaya mga ito? :peace:

Those demons are the people that surround him every single day.

So get rid of 'em one by one and just limit 'em within arms reach.

If Pacquiao keeps on believing that he'll end up face down on the
mat again snoozing; if there is a pentalogy.
