Im not saying that Donaire can surpass PACs greatness, But if Donaire would have that opportunity, what are things he has to accomplish?

I know that its impossible for him to become an 8 weight division champion and to generate the same PPVs of Pacquiao because time is not on his side and his fighting at lower weights. What if he was able to accomplish all of these?

an undisputed champion.
collected more than 10 world titles
pound for pound no. 1
3 time fighter of the year
fighter of decade
5 or 6 weight division champion
Defeated mares, rigondeaux, john, salido, lopez deleon, gamboa, russel and broner
Ended his career with only one loss

Are these achievents still not sufficient to surpass pacquiaos greatness? If not yet, what are the other things he needs to accomplish to surpass PACs greatness considering greatness is not only linited to how many weight division chanpionship and the number of PPVs if im not mistaken.

One thing Donaire can do to Surpass PACQUIAO is to clean out more division title holders before moving up.

ANd then also win EIGHT Division Titles, if he can do that then you have a Good Argument.

Also beat SEVEN FIRST BALLOT HALL of FAMERS like Manny has...

The WIN LOSS stat only means something if you actually fought decent Competition.

Remember Sugar Ray Robinson lost 19 times, but why?

Also JOE MESI is an Undefeated Heavyweight Fighter an NO ONE considers him above Average

He can do it the quality over quantity way. Clean out 122 and 126 and he can stake his claim. Then probably a tenure at 130 to top it all off.

i beg to disagree with the second paragraph, greatness is not exclusive by winning in 8 weight division. ali, armstrong, hagler and hearns have won no more than 5 weight classes yet being considered above pacquiao in terms of greatness neither robinson who is widely considered as the greatest. its by fighting the very best at thier best. im a pacquiao fan, but i only considered cotto as the best at his best pacquiao fought and defeated above 130, the rest were not thats why i do not rank pacquiao in the top 5 ATGs. 6 to 10 i wont argue.

Nonito is already 30 yrs, hope he achieve this in say 4 years? I agree it is not limited to how many divisions but we cannot
deny the fact that PPV is one of the yardstick in measuring one's greatness. 8)

mares and rigo at 122

chris john, dpdl, salido at 126

gamboa and the japanese champ at 130

broner and vasquez at 135

beating them impressively is enough, most
of these fighters are on their prime.

If Donaire surpasses Pacquiao's greatness, then what a great century for Philippine boxing!

donaire do not need to accomplish anything to surpass Pac's greatness...

he just need to create his own...

its hard and difficult to compare an orange and an apple..

but both can satisfy....
