Froilan is good but from watching him last night I think he's about two or three more fights away before gunning for the belt. I like Saludar and I would love to see him win a Championship belt but I think he needs a couple more fights and not pit him too early or he might end up losing his confidence. His power was not intimidating and Tirado was eating up all that he could throw, but at least he won, that's the main thing. But I would love to see him go up for a few more tough fights then lets shoot for the elusive belt.
Good assessment, I thought the same thing. He relies too much on his right cross, which is a helluva weapon. But he needs to develop his left better, maybe throw a more assertive jab and learn to keep his opponents honest with his left hook. But he's a warrior all the way and came on strong to secure the win vs. Tirado.
I'm told that he will fight an eliminator bout to get a title bout next year, so looks like we'll have to find out how good he is quicker than we expected.
