He has his sights on the IBF championship, the winner of the IBF fight versus Rances and Argenis, both in Ring Magazine's top 10.

Takashi Uchiyama, Mikey Garcia are also great opponents.

Anyway, here is hoping Farenas, the greatest hope among Pinoy boxers IMHO, will end up junior lightweight champion and unifying all the belts, before moving up to lightweight.

Farenas beat a good, undefeated prospect in Davis. I think he is one of the few Pinoys who no longer needs tune-up fights 'cause he already has tons of experience and he is gaining on in years.

In the Davis fight, he looked fast, got a good gameplan, and executed quite well. I say let him fight the best out there.

I think he should do a rematch with the Cuban fighter Gamboa...

Maybe he should ask Penalosa to talk to Pacman who in turn will ask Arum for a Mikey Garcia vs Farenas match, assuming Top Rank and Garcia have no more promotional problems.

And furthermore, ask Roach to help more, and keep Somodio as trainer still instead of Farenas' previous trainer. The Wildcard certainly helped him well in this fight.

Farenas also has unfinished business against Takashi Uchiyama, who he drew with.

Gamboa is no longer a champion, I think let Farenas pursue his championship dream.
